I don’t see how that $80,000 in tuition really affects or improves them. If you are still that stupid after paying $80,000....what did you really learn?
I hate to suggest it, but kids graduating in the 1880s were likely more intelligent and bright compared to these kids today.
Our youngest daughter graduated at the very top of her class with an accounting degree a few years ago. She was always very upset that they dumbed the classes down so much even in the courses that she was taking. When we went to her graduation... the majority of kids were receiving degrees in "liberal arts" areas such as "black history" that had no real employment opportunities... it is hard to imagine how dumbed down their classes were.

Psychologically, borrowing the $80,000 and paying it later, is quite different than saving $80,000 yourself and spending it on your education. Most students are still children, easily influenced by peers and professors.
