They Gave to Jeff Flake's Campaign. Now These Donors Don't Know What to Do
Fortune Magazine ^ | 10/26/2017 | Alana Abramson

Saint Jeffy has $3.1 million in his campaign fund with $1.3 supposedly coming in to his "Victory Fund." Read the article, but you'll need 50 gallon barf bag.

BIG QUESTION: Does Saint Jeffy get to keep the millions in his campaign funds or not?

I thought I was going to throw up when I read some of the people fund-raising for St. Jeffy: CONDI RICE, and Barbara Barrett (W's ambassador to Finland). The Bush swamp creatures were scheming away, BARF.

Flake has some kind of ties to another AZ icon, Barry Goldwater. I guess Goldwater would be out bashing Trump too if he were still around.

Hope he keeps the money.

His much younger second wife Peggy was a pretend Republican raging leftist, she had a lot of bad influence on Barry when he was a really old man.

Trade him to San Diego for two players to be named later.

What do the campaign finance laws say? Does he have to return any money at all?

I’m thinking he doesn’t HAVE to, but he’s such an “honorable man” he’ll return the money to donors-—NOT!

“Flake has some kind of ties to another AZ icon, Barry Goldwater.”

No, his ties are to the Mormon Church. He’s been trying to do their bidding with respect to illegal immigration. Watch him give his leftover cash to his church, or perhaps “tithe it 10%” and keep the rest! As far as who Barry Goldwater trashing Trump, that’s pure BS speculation that isn’t worthy of a response.

He does *not* have to return the money.

But, it does have some strings on it. He cannot simply use it to buy vacations to Monoco.

I believe it must be used for political campaigns.

I wish I knew the law. I did a lot of googling, but I never saw a definitive answer that I trusted.

I had heard that about Goldwater.

I am so glad Flake is not running. I am worried what kind of Shenanigans he is going to do in the meantime. He has taken a beating on Facebook. The locals are for the most part glad he’s done.

I think I’ll call St. Jeffy’s offices and ask his lackeys the question.

I think I’ll call McCain’s office, too.

Flake and McCain REALLY hate it when constituents like me call them.

LMAO

Yes, strings are attached...but they’re pretty minimal. I suspect the slimy Flake wii give some to whoever challenges Ward in the primary. Flake undoubtably despises Kelli Ward since she’s the genesis of his downfall, IMHO.

I am a local.

I don’t know ANY Arizona Republican who likes Flake or McCain.

Not a single person.

He can’t use it personally, but he can keep it as campaign money indefinitely in case he wants to run for something in the future.

It’s typical to turn the money over to the political party apparatus, and it could be donated to a favorite charity or spread out among other candidates.

You’re right, so everyone needs to start sending money to Kelli Ward!

She is 200% behind President Trump and his agenda. She can win, she can beat the “openly bisexual” open borders, single payer healthcare and anti-tax cut RAT Kirsten Sinema.

Laws?
Surely you jest.
Senators make laws they are not required to follow.
