FULL TITLE:Kassam: McConnell’s DACA Amnesty Plan Will Hand the House of Representatives to Democrats, Ripe for Impeachment Attempts
Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell this morning told Hugh Hewitt on MSNBC that amnesty for the recipients of the Deferred Action on Childhood Arrivals could form part of a deal with the Democrats, in exchange for things such as scrapping the Diversity Visa programme.
“Republicans are not necessarily opposed to that,” replied McConnell, when Hewitt asked if there is a “compromise” to be had on DACA in exchange for “some border security” and “some additional vetting from people from suspect countries”.
“Yeah, I think so,” said McConnell, adding, “I think there ought to be something related to making the American legal immigration system better, achieved along with DACA”.
While he attempted to channel President Trump in his response, the plan revealed during the campaign had no such “compromises” built in — in fact there is zero wiggle-room when it comes to amnesty for illegal immigrants.

Yes, and McConnell KNOWS that transferring power to the ‘RATS would be the result of DACA. McConnell is running scared now —- that’s the ONLY reason for his sudden speed up of Judicial nominee votes after almost 10 months of the Trump administration.
Steve Bannon needs to primary each and every one of these self-serving clowns.
I keep coming back to the notion that Republicans really don’t care if they lose the House. Do they act like it?
Of course, in some sense we really can’t tell because the 3-4 legislative failures to this point are largely a product of McCain, Collins, Mikulsky, and a few other undocumented Democrats.
Meanwhile, if they are in the majority and are charged with “getting things done” as is often said...look at the heat they have to take!
They are bureaucrats. They do not get paid more for superior performance. For the most part I think they’d rather be the minority party and not have to be the bleeding edge of the full on hatred most Americans have for them. As minority party, they can tout their courage for their resistance as they put their noble struggle.
Turdlehead has been a little different since his meeting with our POTUS.
I still chuckle when I think about how Trump slyly mentioned that Turdlehead may be getting a little profit off Ocare too. LOL

I am okay with McConnell talking Amnesty in return for concessions on other issues. First, let’s deport all illegals who are not part of DACA, build the Wall, end the diversity lottery, end chain migration, and end refugee resettlement in our country. Then we’ll negotiate on whether it’s a good idea to reward illegal behavior with legal status for DACA criminals in America.

Sorry, did I miss something? NOBODY in govt is beholden to any document 240yr old document. I don’t have enough seconds in my life to count the # of violations at all levels of govt vs. Constitution a/o Rights (’Executive amnesty’ being just ONE).
True, I believe the elected are tired of the pandering/voters every 2/4 yrs. But to indicate that Latin America is DIFFERENT than the U.S.A. is just naive.
