I don't think I disagree with your general point, but for a lot of people in the 1970s dating was more about sex than about getting married.

You're absolutely correct about the change in mores and dating norms. The media should be investigating and reporting these things. But they just want to help get Moore out of the election next month.

But this is not about sexual abuse.

This whole thing is about politics. Plain and simple.

This was an amateurish, feeble attempt by the GOPe to change the decision of the primary voters in Alabama.

Even Sen. Murkowski of Alaska claimed she had contacted the GOP loser in the primary that Moore defeated, Luther Strange, to consider declaring himself a write-in candidate, in an attempt to defeat Moore next month. WTF?!

Inquiring minds want to know, do you believe Moore or the lying, fake news Washington comPost colluding with the GOP establishment in DC to try and kick him out of the race?

Sex is only being used as the vehicle to hitch this political hit job wagon to.

My father was 32, and my mother was 16 when they married in 1936. Their first child wasn’t born until 1940. I was the last, born in 1947. The libs would label him a pedophile today, and he was a Democrat.

Thanks ... and oh I forgot to mention, my daughter was 14 at the time and had already lost her internet privileges because she was having inappropriate chats online with some much older guys.

It’s very hard raising kids these days, you either need to move somewhere remote or closely monitor what they’re up to in most populated areas.
