I saw slaves in Saudi Arabia. My friend who had been there before pointed out a bunch of women getting off a bus all wearing the bag ( called an abaya there, burka in other places ). I asked how he knew they were slaves and told me to look at their feet. No shoes.

Africans are being sold at Libyan slave markets. Wow, just like what's been going on for thousands of years. We don't hear much about that, though, with the exception of a brief mention of "the shores of Tripoli" in the Marine Corps hymn.
