According to the left the only explanation for Trump and his followers is racism and mental illness.
According to the right the only explanation for leftist thought is mental illness.
These diametrically opposing views leave no room for political debate. They set the stage for continued conflict.
The scary part is what happens when both sides truly believe the other side is mentally ill. What is the cure? Re-education camps? Or, just kill them?
