There is every reason to do that, and other investigations. Too bad Huckleberry Hound is the AG.

Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of the “Deep State” men? The Shadow do, Obama is the Shadow.

I’m afraid the left simply denies events that interfere with their story line. Politifact, the progressive source for debunking fake news, claims there is no substance to the Miller backchannel relationship with Iran before Obama took office:

If you want to mount an expedition to search for treason within the Swamp, this is the place to target. Obama willfully advanced the nuclear ambitions of Iran against the interests of US security precisely because it was harmful to US security.

“Obama’s secret back channel”

Snark. Where is Reggie these days, anyway?

It's very likely that there's massive compromise and corruption in high political places. For example, the Iran Deal was (IMO) provably Treason.

The antithesis of a smart-ass is a dumb-ass. BTW, ole Huckleberry always came out on top. So you are either taking a shot at his southern demeanor, or worse, the inference that southern is below grade on the scale of intellect.

I’m glad it is your-graine.

How soon they forget that John F’ing Kerry tried to negotiate our surrender to the VC in Paris as a Private Citizen.

Thanks markomalley.
General Michael Hayden (USAF Ret.), who served as CIA director and NSA director, is certainly well aware of Barack Obama’s secret, off-the-books, pre-election diplomatic mission to the Iranian mullahs during which Obama’s emissary promised that Iran would receive a better deal than it might receive from the sitting president — George W. Bush. The Obama campaign’s message: the Islamic Republic would be far happier with Obama’s policies if it would wait until the election was over. “What manner of ignorance, chaos, hubris, suspicion, contempt, would you have to have to think that doing this with the Russian ambassador was a good or an appropriate idea?,” Hayden said. Senator Obama’s team set up the Iranian back channel not only before Barack Obama was sworn in as president, but before the 2008 election was even held.
In order to get to SoeteroZero and his criminal cadre, first one must pretend to be after Trump?

< I’m glad it is your-graine.

There's a third option in each case. Option #3a: the smart-ass and the dumb-ass are often the same person. Case in point.

Option #3b: my comment was neither toward Sessions' southern-ness nor his intellect, but toward his slow, casual pace --just like ole Huckleberry's.

So, I hope ole Sessions comes out on top, too. I'm impatient because I haven't seen jack thus far. And that goes against my grain.

https://techcrunch.com/2016/11/29/church-committee-leniency-edward-snowden/
Members of a committee that investigated the CIA during the Watergate era have urged President Obama to show leniency on NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden and strike a deal to allow him to return home.
15 former members of the 1970s Church Committee, led by its former chief counsel Frederick Schwarz Jr. and ex-staff director William Green Miller, sent an eight-page letter to the President and Attorney General Loretta Lynch arguing that Snowden’s actions were a catalyst that helped change secret service policy for the better.
