Did they complain when Obamacare was passed? Trying to recollect their outrage then.
Lie-a-watha on the warpath!
Anyone remember the comment “you have to pass the bill to see what is in it” when Obamacare was being pushed using the EXACT SAME TACTICS as are being castigated here.
EVERY spending bill passed by Congress is corrupt.
What, exactly, is the difference for the Democrats? They all voted against it, just as promised.
The only people that have any case to complain are the Republicans, but they seemed happy with it.
I figured out my answer to the question above: The Democrats aren’t mad because it affected their vote, they were mad because it is very hard to attack something when you don’t know what it is. Their hope was to flip a few more Republicans...but we didn’t give them that chance!
Fauxahontas speak with forked tounge!
One word...
Obamacare.
***mic drop***
The Dems can’t read? Thank the public school system.
Well, I was undecided about this tax bill. But, the if the Dems are this bent out of shape about it I support it 100%.
This Congress doesnt work for working families, Sen. Elizabeth Warren
Ever notice that when dems refer to “working families”, they are referring to those that don’t work?
Has any of them referred to it as “A BLOATED TAX CUT!” yet?
History repeats itself - first as tragedy, then as farce - or something :-)
Proofing and testing recipes that you stole from another cookbook for Pow Wow Chow can be very draining.
There's a message there someplace.
The behavior of Congress during my adult life reminds me of my experience when, as a child, I attended a Congressional session. We were ushered in, onto a balcony overlooking the chamber, and during the entire time we were being told to be very quiet and reverent in recognition of the extreme importance of what we were witnessing.
In retrospect, I think that is entirely wrong, and emblematic of the attitude that has gotten us into trouble as a nation. In reality, what should happen is that every single day when there are visitors to the gallery to witness an active Congressional session, Congress members should be required to stop and salute the gallery, officially, once every day they are in session. This would serve to remind them that they are nothing more than representatives of ‘we the people’, and that they serve entirely at our pleasure.
HuffPo rarely disappoints.
Having angry ferret-faced Chuckie as the Senate Rat leader is a gift. It would be hard to find a slimier and more unlikable man than Chuckie.
What's new about that? 0bamacare was worse.
