Democratic Senate candidate Doug Jones has financially overwhelmed his Republican opponent Roy Moore but all his money may not make a difference in the Alabama Senate special election.
Allegations of sexual misconduct against Moore rocked the race, initially boosting Jones fundraising and standing in the polls. But polling numbers have tightened in recent days. With the Dec. 12 election roughly a week away, both campaigns are making their final cases to voters for the seat vacated by former Sen. Jeff Sessions, now the attorney general.

But to no avail. Roy Moore will be Senator-Elect after next Tuesday!!
The old game plan ain't workin' no more!!!
Note to Soros: This election can be turned... please pony up more money. As much as you can... $1B? $2B? What ever you can afford. Jones is depending on it!
Thank you.
I thout it was 3X plus.
At a certain point, the public starts to realize how the big money is being used against them. When this happens, you could spend $2 trillion for the opposition, and the underdog will still win by a big margin.
Seems to me the powers that be, the GOPe, the De,ocrats, the MSM players, the Polling agencies... after a while it was just too much, and the good people of Alabama became offended.
Moore may shock us with a big big win here. I expect him to win and have said by 10%, but I’m beginning to wonder if it won’t be more.
As long as it’s by 1 vote it works for me, but I think it’s best if it’s by a few percent to keep people from dragging it out with recounts and the like.
In HE’s 6th District special election, Osoff outspent Handel 7 to 1. Handel won by 4 percentage points.
Auto correct strikes again.
In GA’s 6th District.
90% of Jones campaign contributions come from out of state.
..you think they would have learned in 2016. A billion dollars and the most voter fraud in history, and Trump still won—and continues to win...
Jones is portraying himself as a moderate who'll work with Trump and the Republicans.
We know that's horses--t but some Alabamians will get suckered into this and may end up supporting Jones.
Think Moore will win 52-48 but it'll be close because Moore is not attacking Jones as a pro-abortionist and gun-grabber that he is.
There could be some truth in that. I’m not sure how many Alabamans don’t know about Jones views on abortion though.
They know he’s a Lefty, and how Lefties oppose everything Trump is trying to do, so I think they’re probably pretty savvy.
Still, I’m not convinced it won’t cost Moore some votes.
People are pretty strange at times.
In old pre Trump politics money was “the mother’s milk of politics” but what Clinton proved was money gets you on the stage bit if voters dont like the song you are singing it wont help
.......plus voters did not like where an how she got all the campaign money........
>>>Moore is not attacking Jones he’s too busy going after Kimmel and the Washington GOP.
And now he is going to have to spend time defending this statement from Nov 29.
“Let me state once again: I do not know any of these women, did not date any of these women and have not engaged in any sexual misconduct with anyone.”

More than that - Trump knows how to make a dollar stretch - and wasn’t doing a lot of behind the scenes payola for more corruption..
