House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi warned against an attempt at "thought control" by the Trump administration in response to a report that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention was told it was forbidden from using seven words in official documents related to the 2019 budget.

"DANGER!", the California Democrat tweeted Saturday in all caps, adding that the administration is "going further down a dangerous and un-American path" by banning such words as "science-based" and "diversity."

"Nancy doesn’t want us to know any words ahead of time. ‘We must pass it to see what is in it.’ I recall her saying."

Great point!

But forcing people to use ridiculous genderless pronouns, referring to black people as "African American" even though they've never been anywhere close to Africa, or calling queers "gay" even though they're the most miserable humans on earth is just "tolerant" and "multicultural."

And let's not get started on "undocumented immigrant."

I was in Lowes today, and one of the cashiers was wearing some jacket saying that she was on some “diversity” group at CU Boulder.

I told her “Diversity is where nations go to die.” She snickered. As my daughter dragged me away, I snarled “And this one is not going to die.”

My daughter asked why I do things like that, and I told her that this libtard piece of dog crap needs to know that she is making blood enemies, who will fight to the last round in the last magazine before they let her take our country.

Does that make me a bad person?

These freaks have co-opted the language to force others to except them as verging on some kind of normal, and they are not. They know it and we know it. Everyone of the LGBTQP is a mental illness. They suffer identity disorders.

So she should have no problem if the N-word or any racial/religious/ethnic epithet were inserted in government documents.

When I read that story yesterday or the day before, I assumed it was leftist 0bama holdovers that made that ‘rule’, not something that Trump came up with.

Either way, Pelousy is a hypocritical loon. (as usual).

U.S. District Judge Wendy Beetlestone, an Obama appointee, said Friday that the state was “likely to suffer serious and irreparable harm” if she did not order a preliminary injunction.

Nothing of this nature is irreparable.

What exactly is the nature of the "irreparable harm that the state would suffer that is irreversible?
Did Wendy graduate grammar school? Does she know how to use a dictionary?

Can she read?
Where in the Constitution is the judiciary empowered to interfere with how the executive deals with its obligations?
Obama has pretty much validated the principle of how the executive carries out its duties and obligations.

OR NOT!

"...he Centers for Disease Control and Prevention was told it was forbidden from using seven words..."

Are those the same as George Carlin's "Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television"?

If I were Speaker of the House, at the start of each term House Rules would be defined to allow for a Point of Order to be made when any speaker referred to “society” or “public” or “we.” Upon that call, the speaker would then be required to clarify whether s/he was referring to the government . Because the fact that
SOME writers have so confounded society with government, as to leave little or no distinction between them; whereas they are not only different, but have different origins. Society is produced by our wants, and government by our wickedness; the former promotes our happiness POSITIVELY by uniting our affections, the latter NEGATIVELY by restraining our vices. The one encourages intercourse, the other creates distinctions. The first is a patron, the last a punisher.

Society in every state is a blessing, but Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state an intolerable one . . .

is just as true now as it was when Thomas Paine wrote Common Sense in 1776. Censorship of often-abused words or expressions can prevent obfuscation.

The intended result is that stupid statements will explicitly sound stupid.
