Well,... remember that McCain signs on to most of our judicial nominees. Do you think he’s good for the cause?

I thinks folks have Romney pretty well pegged.

He’s been very vocal about the things he disagrees with Trump on, and that’s most everything so far.

Where Hatch would probably have been a thumbs up on most Trump policy, I’m not convinced of that at all with Romney.

I see him as another McCain, that can’t keep his mouth shut for two minutes to help the cause.

In many instances, we just went from a 51/49 lead, to a 50/50 tie at best. You get Susan Collins joining in and the Democrats rule the day.

Thanks DoughtyOne. He won in the election that also gave us the grossly unfit Jimmuh Carter; I think Trump got out ahead of this with the executive order, now he just needs to find someone who can run and win.

I understand your point, but try to remember that McCain generally votes to support our judicial picks. Do you see him as a positive force? Romney has already made it clear he is an enemy of Trump policy.

Now we’ll have a relatively young man screwing up the Senate for the next 30-40 years.

With (R)s like these, who needs (D)s?

If the democrats retake the Senate, then Senate Majority Leader Chuckie Schumer will never allow another Trump nominee to get to the floor for a vote. If the democrats retake the House, then the first order of business for Speaker of the House Pelosi will be passing articles of impeachment against President Trump.

The time for knocking out RINOs is in the primaries. In the general election, if your only choice is a RINO or a democrat, vote for the RINO, and then work like hell in the next primaries to have better choices.

Romney simply doesn’t get it. He’s only about 40 years behind the times.

Very true. I don't think he's evil, just an old-style liberal GOPer. And those folks are so out of touch it's embarrassing.

You don’t know Willard, Bubba. I’ve known him 24 years. The guy is a scumbag Democrat agent who served as a ringer for Zero to stop any Conservative from winning the nomination for President. Stopping this abomination from winning ANY office again is absolutely paramount.

Jon Huntsman endorses Trump in May 2016, and was rewarded with a nomination as Russian Ambassador.

Trump needs to get him to run against Romney. Romney cannot be allowed to reach the Senate and undermine Trump’s agenda!

(C)Huntsman is a RINO, too. He fell all over himself to go work for Zero. How about we run a Conservative in Utah, instead ?

Thanks. I agree with your thoughts as well.

Were getting rid of one old bag for another. Hatch is 83, but Romney will be 72 when he is sworn in. Why do the damn baby boomers want to screw up the country forever. They have done enough in the last 50 years and want to continue doing so. So frustrating that we have to put up with such a selfish generation.

Maybe Trump should appoint Romney to be the nation’s official Pooper Scooper.

Willard wants to get into the Senate to sabotage the President. Nothing more, nothing less.

I voted for Hatch the first time he ran - when I was in college. I’m 60 now. No one should be in the Senate that long...

I agree, but who has the name recognition to beat Romney?

Except they didn’t.

Hitlery got 27% in Utah. Obama got 24% in 2012, 34% in 2008, Kerry got 26% and Gore got 26%.

The Democrat percentage was right in line with what it usually is in Utah.

What did happen in Utah was McMuffin, who pulled 21% of the vote.

Trump still pulled a large plurality of the vote.

President Trump wouldn’t appoint this vomitus to any job. He knows what a villainous, treasonous, deceitful, megalomaniacal piece of Socialist $hit that he is.

Bingo, and that 27% is almost exactly in line with what the Rats usually get in Utah.

Although not my personal favorite, let Congresswoman Mia Love have a shot at this scumbag.

My primary concern at this point is keeping Republican control of the Senate. If the Democrats pick up just two more seats then Chuckie Schumer will be the new Majority Leader and no Trump nominees will ever make it to the floor for a vote again.
