Trump did it by rallying the people who wanted to vote for him. He was authentic and they knew it.

Bannon was not the reason Trump won....no matter what Bannon thinks

Here’s a good recent interview of Craig Shirley about Newt on the Mark Levin Show. It’s fascinating that Newt is the only person in history to have an impact in the conservative movement for over 5 decades.

Diogenes, the honest man you seek with your lantern is not to be found.

It's because two honest men, Trump and Bannon, are creating some theater to end the GOPe vs. MAGA civil war.

Follow the money.  Bannon was set to cut off the money supply to GOPe candidates.  He was a major force threatening the GOPe.

The GOPe probably spent $40 million+ to stop Judge Moore from being elected.  And were it not for fraud in Alabama, Moore would be in Washington now.

But now, Trump got what he wanted: the Tax Bill.  And the Tax Bill (plus ObamaCare mandate killing) was the whole point of Bannon going on the war path.

So Trump, Mitchell, and Ryan made peace.  The Republican Civil War has ended and both sides lay down their swords. Trump must no longer support Bannon.

So Bannon becomes a rōnin, a masterless samurai who roams the countryside alone because he lost his master's favor or privilege.

But a rōnin can still perform a great service to his country.  Keeping the MAGA fires glowing at Breitbart is a worthy task for Bannon.

Here's the thing I find to be pretty damn' funny:

The same media (ie: CNN) that belittled, derided, called racist, homophobic, bigoted, etc.. NOW says Bannon's credible and is saying this is the undoing of the Trump White House.

Oh. My. Sides.

And btw yes, the absurdities do write themselves. Newt Gingrich saying someone else has an inflated sense of self worth or an inflated ego is the pot calling the kettle black.

You Free Traitors™ are loving this but it isn’t going to work. The nationalist genie is out of the bottle.

You must be a globalist Free Traitor™ if you do not like what Bannon was expressing in his speeches. Makes you look bad. Have you ever heard a Bannon speech?

Milo said that Bannon was known for fits of anger - but they are to be taken with a grain of salt. Milo also said something like “I know who my Daddy is [Trump], but also don’t think I need to take sides.”

I’m guessing that Bannon and Trump didn’t see eye-to-eye on everything. Who does? And then get some liberal writer to skew things. And I don’t think the Trump kids are all that much anyway, which is where some of this disagreement is coming from.

The Bannon flare up is bring the mainstream establishment GOPers, who really hate Trump’s support of an economic nationalist agenda, out of the woodwork.

1- Free Traitor has been used on this site many times for well over the last ten years — including by myself — so it may be hard to trademark.

2- Calling me a globalist would indicate that you’re absolutely clueless.

3- I’ve heard Bannon speak several times.

4- He helped Alabama lose a seat in the senate. I was sick to my stomach when Roy entered the race. I knew either outcome would be bad. I proved correct.

5- I used to like Bannon but he’s lost me now. He’s an absolute dipsh#T for throwing the President under the bus when things finally start to show momentum. Unreal. He undermined the President.

6- It’s about Bannon instead of what’s best for our nation. He’s attacking republicans more than democrats.

7- It is clear why Ben Shapiro wanted out of that circus. I used to think Ben was the bad guy but since their parting, I think much more of Ben than I do Bannon. It’s just another sign that Bannon cannot work well with other. Shapiro was far more a representation of Andrew Breitbart than Bannon ever could be.

8- Far too many in the White House wanted Bannon out. Maybe it’s Bannon.

9- Bannon will start to fade away. He doesn’t have the face for TV and Breitbart.com has been heading to the dumpster since Bannon bought it out.

10- Please spare me of comments without knowledge.

If you don’t know by now I can’t help you.

Or you don't want to admit that you haven't actually got any proof that didn't come from some lying liberal kook who wrote a book.

I haven't looked at the news today yet, but if Bannon comes out and admits he said those things, then *that* I would regard as proof.

Liberal Kook writing in a book is not proof.

You are mixing the recent comments with his being CEO of the campaign and his role leading conservatives to Trump and getting Trump to become more conservative. you can be mad all you want, but what happened in 2016, stands and it helped get Trump elected. Admit it and move on.

I hope you are right. This thing doesn’t make much sense as it has been presented to us by the media.
