The media world is going gaga over the thought of a potential 2020 presidential bid from Oprah Winfrey.
After Winfrey delivered a stirring speech Sunday evening at the Golden Globes, Monday’s headlines were all about the talk show icon. The speculation is a welcome distraction for Hollywood’s elite, who have faced an ongoing industry crisis after the fallout from a wave of sexual assault bombshells.
However, if Oprah runs she will likely face her own questions over enabling and palling around with some of Hollywood’s now infamous sexual predators. In particular, Oprah has maintained a close professional relationship with Harvey Weinstein over the past two decades. Weinstein saw his career go down in flames after dozens of women came forward to accuse him of sexual harassment and assault, and Winfrey’s chummy relationship with Weinstein has been pointed out by a number of Twitter users who have [osted photos of Oprah kissing and hugging the notorious sexual predator:

I’m far more interested in the Oprah/Gayle King/Steadman Graham farce they and their media acolytes have maintained for more than 20 years.
And what about financial disclosure? And Oprah’s taxes in terms of income, the state she claims residence (and the other states’ taxes she avoids)?
Oprah racked up huge fines for watering on her properties during water bans or restrictions. It will delicious to hear her environmental blather - although she would hardly be the first hypocrite to do so.
She’ll come up with some excuse that will fly with the left.
But it’ll be entertaining to watch her twist herself into a pretzel doing it.
Oprah has never encountered opposition to herself. She is always adored by her fans. I don’t think she has the stomach to actually run for office. You need some very thick skin, especially on the national stage.
It doesn’t matter. The media is fully on board and her Wienstien connections will be washed away live 0bama’s connections to Rev Wright and Bill Ayers.
For the next three years it will all Oprah, all the time. By the time 2020 gets here she will have a 40% lead on Trump.
Wait, we should think this over. Maybe she’ll give us all new cars!

I’m betting the sample poll CNN takes this week regarding a 2020 Trump/Winfrey matchup with have Oprah 40% ahead. Of course the poll will only include those at the Golden Globes and the south side of (pick a city)

Opra would be crazy to run for president. Her “brand” would be destroyed before it was over.
