No, the neighborhood talk was that Paul’s and Boucher’s teens were seeing each other. Just what I read the night it happened.

No effin way. There are very few people that i can say that about but Dr. Paul is one of those guys. Boucher’s wife left years ago. Not much I would put past him.

NO matter what he should still fork over the full fine of $250,000.

That’s a rich ritzy neighborhood and this might be only a small bruise. Something that can be easily financed into that house.

Ah, the plutocracy sees it differently. Always has been, always will be.

Then maybe he ought to fork out a million or two. I would be fine with that.

Better than nothing. Still a shockingly short sentence. He could’ve killed Mr. Paul.

I don’t even know if the Pauls *have* teenagers. Just something I read that rang extremely plausible, if true.

In the federal system there is no parole. If he stays out of trouble the best reduction hg e can get is 15%. He will do about 17 months.

I don’t think so. With federal sentencing, you do ALL the time.

Paul wasn’t attacked for any governmental reason, or policy reason, or partisan reason...just over grass clippings - whether he was wrong, or right.

It is not clear to me this is the case. It is what is being said.

The fact is that Rand Paul’s politics are directly opposite the man who attacked him.

He’ll do 87 percent the way they vest 54 days good time per year

He might get halfway house up to six months but not likely for violent crime and they don’t often given full six months on a short bit

I’m guessing 15-18 months

And given it’s violence no camp possible

He’ll go to genuine prison

Should be ordered into a 2-4 year anger management course ... will need it after he gets raped in a civil suit.

Not to mention after he gets 21 months of prison rape.

“Paul wasn’t attacked for any governmental reason, or policy reason, or partisan reason...just over grass clippings - whether he was wrong, or right.”

This was a violent, criminal assault. It was a sneak attack on Paul’s own property. And you’re assuming the deranged, violent criminal who attacked him is 100% truthful about his side of the story?

Lock him up. It’s a very reasonable punishment. Just because injustice happens elsewhere does not mean it has to happen to everyone. Paul is one of the better senators. I’m glad his attacker is facing justice.

If Rand Paul had a D after his name the guy would have gotten 50 years to life.

I’m thinking I read the Pauls use it for compost, or some portion of the pile.

As long as you “stand” on your own damn ground, you can bay to the moon nightly, but you can’t charge a neighbor from behind, break his ribs and puncture his lungs, not on his lawn, with your sucker punch and then talk about how you’re standing your ground and the victim has it made because he’s elected to office and you’re not.
