Here Are Three Democrats Who Will Lose U.S. Senate Races In 2018
Daily Caller ^ | 01/21/2018 | Guy Short

Believe it or not, the 2018 election is only months away. And while talking heads and media elites focus exclusively on Republican election challenges, the electoral map is chock-full of vulnerable Democratic candidates running in Trump territory. Here are the top Democrats poised for 2018 defeat:

1. Sen. Claire McCaskill (Democrat, Missouri)

The definition of a corrupt career politician, Sen. McCaskill is a personification of the Washington swamp and the Democratic Party’s most vulnerable incumbent. Who can forget her failure to pay $287,000 in property taxes on a private plane? Or using $40 million in government subsidies to boost her husband’s real estate business?

Even her fellow Democrats have referred to Sen. McCaskill as “corrupt,” making her a boon to opposition researchers.

And it’s taken on a toll on her approval ratings in Missouri. Only 42 percent of Missourians approve of Sen. McCaskill, after she was first elected to the Senate with only 54 percent of the vote against a weakened Todd Akin. (Akin infamously coined the phrase “legitimate rape,” which the mainstream media ruthlessly leveraged to delegitimize him.)

Her blind “resistance” against President Trump, who won Missouri by a whopping 18.5 percent (over 500,000 votes) in 2016, only makes matters worse. Sen. McCaskill has voted against the president nearly 60 percent of the time, giving Republicans very clear attack lines to defeat her in 2018.

2. Sen. Bill Nelson (Democrat, Florida)

Poor Bill Nelson. Reelection was always going to be an uphill battle in a state that President Trump won by roughly 120,000 votes, and former Florida Gov. Rick Scott’s (R-FL) likely entrance into the race only makes the hill steeper.

I hope Nelson loses in Florida. He has got to be one of the dumbest and most liberal Senators.

Adios, Claire. You’ve been on the dole far too long.

If corruption were the sole determinate we would have a completely new crop. We won't get them, Clare's corruption was well known last election but the GOPe wanted to keep her, and derided their own candidate because they didn't like him, besides she was a good earner.

But if,by chance, they take the House there can be no doubt that DJT will be impeached...and the Rats will drag it out for maximum drama (and damage).

Claire,

Methinks the R’s in MO aren’t gonna tolerate another Akin in the primaries. So long as the GOP primary winner can breath, say twp-syllable words, how to press a vote button and knows when to keep their #$%##!! mouth shut, you will lose and it won’t be pretty.

Claire, you can only spit in the face and thumb you nose at the voters for so long. Bad karma adds up like fat cells...and you got plenty of those.

Don’t believe me Claire? Ask Lee Terry (former NE-2 GOP Rep). He can tell you a lot about pissing off the base and coming off as a jerk.

The tax refund checks won’t come in until after the 2018 November elections. The lies and hyperbole about all the rich corporation benefits will sustain the rat campaigns.

McRatkill is a rotten, dishonest, traitor to Missourians. She was an Obama suckass from day 1, deserving of contempt by every pro-American citizen in the country.

Moore was the “O’Donnel” of the South. Too much baggage, too many flaws, angered the party apparatus, ticked off the base which suppressed the GOP vote. He was a disaster in the making.

Next time around, the GOP (in a Presidential cycle) is going to be more ramped up with someone more “likable/electable” with better support and Trump visit(s).

Remember Scott Brown? Dems had a candidate (Coakley) who was an entitled crappy campaigner who thought it was an automatic win (hey, it’s MA, DEMS always win...right?).

The trouble gets deeper and the tax refund checks come in.

The tax cuts go into effect for tax year 2018. That means the refund checks reflecting the tax cuts only show up in 2019. On the other hand, withholding amounts are or should be down right now, so people are seeing their take-home pay go up.

I would love to see the weasel Little Bobby Casey fall flat on his face. He promised to carry on his Dad’s prolife legacy, but voted to continue killing babies.every chance he got. Hope Trump campaignsfor his opponent. Pennsylvania loves our President!

The GOP candidate problem is simple: candidate supports Conservatism and Trump = no GOPe support $$
Candidate supports GOPe = GOP support $$$ but no popular votes.

Can’t win elections without votes. The people elected Trump and will support like minded candidates. The people will not vote for GOPe Romneyclones.

Just about every Republican senate primary is filled with disasters in the making. Throw a dozen people into the mix and you have no idea who will come out on top. What if Arpiao wins the nomination in Arizona? You really think he would win?

If the citizens nominate anyone who will stand with them and the rule law against the Cheap Labor Express the Bush League Republicans knee cap them in the general.
We have seen it play out over and over again.
They weren’t all terrible candidates, they were terribly smeared, with help from the Bush League.
Watch for that to happen again.
Trump has not wrested control of the party apparatus from the Bush League.
