Donald Trump has said the United States could re-enter the Paris climate change agreement –and that he would have taken a “tougher stand” in Brexit negotiations than Theresa May.

Sign up to the Media Briefing: news for the news-makers Read more The US president said his country could join the international accord if it had a “completely different deal” but called the existing agreement a “terrible deal” and a “disaster” for the US.

In remarks on Brexit that will add to the pressure on the prime minister, Trump said he “would have negotiated it differently” and that he had “a lot of problems” with the European Union, warning of a trade battle between the US and the bloc.

Trump made the comments in an interview with Piers Morgan for ITV, which was broadcast last night.

In a preview of the interview released on Friday, showed Trump said he was prepared to apologise for retweeting inflammatory videos posted by the deputy leader of the far-right group Britain First.

***WARNING***

Don’t believe these Lying Leftist Media outlets like the Guardian. They are presumed to be lying and we should presume what they publish is a lie. The presumption can only be rebutted with the outlet providing clear and convincing evidence they are not lying.

Why not post the TRUTH about the lies? You don't have to use the liar as the source to post a headline that alerts readers to a published lie. Use yourself as the source or a reasonably reliable source that addresses what the Lying Leftist source is saying. That way you have a headline and a source that your readers can reasonably rely on and they go away more informed about the lie AND the truth.

If this story is true and has some redeeming value, at least get the story from a reasonably reliable source, not from a known Lying Leftist operative posing as a “news” organization. You’ve done the Patriotic Right a service. Much better than the mindless repetition of lying sources and their lying headlines.

IMO, if a poster can't be bothered to do that, then they shouldn't post. If they're going to be bothered to post, do it right. We're on a mission here.

The Paris Accord is the Paris Accord. The rest of the world isn’t going to change it just for us so Trump might as well drop all this nonsense about maybe rejoining. Same with TPP.

We should be getting out of previous climate accords.

Why would he even risk adding credence to its HOAX premise that man any measurable causation on climate change?

Its for image, Trump is saying this because he knows they won’t give the US a better deal. The whole deal was that US would stop all fossil fuels while the rest of the world increased their use and we would have to pay everyone a ton of money. It was a theft. Trump knows that, he just says he is open to a better deal for image and getting liberals upset. He is trying to appeal to moderates who get their news from MSM sources.

Corrected, non-misleading title should have been:

"Donald Trump says US could re-enter Paris climate deal if it was a completely different deal"

Beautifully phrased. And this is what he said about the Paris accord from day 1. If it were in the US favor, then we’d do it. It’s not, so we won’t. And it won’t be.

Translation for the chicken little slow crowd: “if the Paris climate accord is Pruitized, we’re happy to join”

Agreed. Trump teases his opponents like pin flags tease golfers -- to give them false hope!

To what end? Talking like this makes it look like he hasn't a clue as to what the Paris Accord is or what's in it.

Art of the Deal

How can it be the art of the deal when there is no deal to be gotten?

It's always fun to see the weak-minded among us go into a frenzy every time the mainstream media puts out that Trump is about to cave or make a deal on something. "That's it! I'm done with Trump! He really failed us now!..."

They are like a coven of drama queens, complete with pearl-clutching and fainting couches.

Meanwhile, Trump just goes on undoing the Obama legacy and establishing himself as even a greater president than Ronald Reagan. Who, I might add, actually made a lot of compromises with the Democrats.

I don’t buy it, thinking Trump’s not so stupid as to start building his political coffin by gathering big nails.

He said we’d reenter it if they completely changed it.

Sounds like a win to me.
