President Donald Trump told Democrats Thursday that they can accept his immigration compromise or they'll get 'nothing at all.'
At the GOP's annual retreat today in West Virginia Trump said the other party might as well 'come on board' with his plan to build a border wall and give 1.8 million illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. as children a pathway to citizenship because 'we are not going to improve it.'
'We have to get help from the other side, or we have to elect many more Republicans. That's another way of doing it, really that's another way of doing it,' Trump said. 'They talk a good game with DACA but they don't produce.'
The president also said that it was a 'trap' to refer to the illegal immigrant youth he's offering to protect as 'Dreamers' in another slap at Democrats.
'It's not Dreamers. Don't fall into that trap,' he stated. 'It’s much different than Dreamers.'
As President Trump prepared to address Republicans' annual retreat on Thursday, he hammered Democrats in the fight over the status of the illegal immigrant youth on Twitter.
'March 5th is rapidly approaching and the Democrats are doing nothing about DACA,' Trump said. 'They Resist, Blame, Complain and Obstruct - and do nothing.'
Trump urged his massive following to 'start pushing Nancy Pelosi and the Dems to work out a DACA fix, NOW!'
In another message Trump said he was heading to 'beautiful' West Virginia, where he would be meeting with the 'great members of the Republican Party.'

Even people who were ticked off about Trump offering so much to the dems are now realizing that trump is boxing the dems in. The dems are in a no win situation. Trump is making them look downright stupid. They are frothing at the mouth and don’t know what to do. And now trumps about to release the FBI report and the dems don’t have a clue what to do. Im seriously doing a little dance over here. F the left. I hope they choke on their own stink.

Actually not true, the money was already put in the budget from last year and the Dems were too busy to notice. It has been proceeding in all the initial phases and they are not waiting around

Trump has made a generous offer, but I still dont like his amnesty for dreamers. 90% of these punks are going to be Democrat voters once they get their citizenship. States like TX, GA, NC will become solid blue states.

The thing is unless and until that Rat Judge is overturned the daca “kids” are going nowhere. I don’t see that happening before March and the Dems know it.

They have to win both houses of Congress first, and by a substantial majority, otherwise it will be a royal waste of time.

He does get rid of the dreamers, and should start rounding them up the very next day.
And he’ll get some Dems coming begging him to do something to save the poor families from being torn apart by ICE agents, and he’ll be back to where he can get the wall and offer LESS.
