I would guess the previous president’s habit of ignoring the Constitution and laws in matters he didn’t agree with is a big factor.

Then using his pen and phone to legislate from the Oval Office had a lot more to do with about half the public not understanding we have a legitimate president now.

The Constitutional crisis happened on Usurpation Day when everyone in DC pretended that someone born a British subject can be a natural born citizen.

I agree to the extent that this is a serious abuse of executive power that has compromised numerous agencies and the significance is so extensive that unless there is a total cleaning of house WITH criminal accountability we will eventually have a domestic crisis never before imagined.

I love Charley Daniels, even before he started speaking out about politics. I have liked his music since way back in his beginning. His greatest hits CD is full of outstanding Southern music, just like the Marshal Tucker Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd , Allman Brothers, Leon Russell, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Elvin Bishop, Ozark Mountain Daredevils, Wet Willie, and ZZ Top. However, looking at the list, some of them aren’t Southern bands in my humble opinion. CCR wasn’t born in the South to my knowledge. Didn’t they come from Kaliforniastan?? I could be wrong though.

I’ve been a fan of Charlie for years as well and CCR.

According to wiki they started in El Cerrito, California and that’s in the Bay area of all places.

We lived in So CA at the time, glad we got out when we did. LOL!

Creedence helped get me through grade school. As for CCR not being "Southern", "Green River" is classic swamp rock. Obviously Fogerty and pals had Southern (not SoCal) musical influence. A classic band whose greatest hits CD helped get me through a drive from home on MD's Eastern Shore to Roanoke, VA in 2009.

I probably *heard* Charlie Daniels before finally hearing *of* him via "Devil Went Down to Georgia" in the summer of '79 (when I was fresh out of HS). IIRC he played on Bob Dylan's "Nashville Skyline" LP.
