I’m curious to know why all the anti-gun virtue signalers aren’t out protesting in the streets over this. Is it because
a) the victims aren’t children
b) the victims are black
c) it doesn’t affect the virtue signalers’ worlds?

In Texas, it’s often illegal aliens driving drunk that ends in innocent deaths. Over 1,200 Texans have been murdered in various ways by illegals in the past decade.
There isn’t any great media blitz highlighting the grief of the families of those victims. They also had “the right to live” that the anti-Trump, anti-gun protesters are demanding now.

They use guns. Chicago gun laws are strict. You must have a Firearm Owners Identification card. Obviously, the violent murderers don’t have a Firearm Owners Identification card. Only the non-violent people do, and they have largely left the city.
I don’t see any will on the part of the democrats in Chicago to take guns away from the violent criminals who don’t have a Firearm Owners Identification card.
Their goal is to take guns from non-violent citizens, while deliberately leaving them in the hands of violent criminals.

It is tragic that I have been forced to come to this awful conclusion. After YEARS of seeing no outrage over the weekly Chicago “gun scoring” I had this terrible thought....
“Black Lives seem to matter ONLY if the trigger finger was WHITE.”
Blacks shooting other Blacks raises NO headlines, and no media outrage. No TV specials with the usual talking heads. The Jacksons and Sharptons of the world remain out of sight, waiting reports of a White trigger finger shooting another African-American.
And Chicago has EVERY “Sensible Gun Control Law” ever written on the books. Right..
