The legislature could not come up with a map. When the lawmakers can’t do their job. The Supreme Court steps in. Happens with many issues.

You’re misinformed, sir.
The legislature did come up with a map. Passed and signed by then Governor Corbett and went into effect with the 2012 elections.
This is an illegal and unconstitutional judicial fiat by a Democrat court that doesn’t like it has a Republican majority. Again, this is an ILLEGAL and UNCONSTITUTIONAL order that has no grounding in law. It is a partisan Democrat power grab to STEAL seats from the Republican majority to give to the Democrat minority.
Lawmakers did their job. This is a lawless court that must be impeached for their tyrannical and unconstitutional actions.

Stop with your bullsh!t.
The legislature DID come up with a map. The PA Supreme Court had ZERO authority to invalidate it.

The legislature could not come up with a map. When the lawmakers cant do their job. The Supreme Court steps in. Happens with many issues. That is factually false. The legislature did indeed come up with a map. The governor didn't like it so the Court substituted their own map - highly questionable they had the authority to do such a thing - especially since they didn't even consider whether the new map the legislature implemented was constitutional simply because the governor didn't like it.

The legislature could not come up with a map.
Have you even informed yourself??
Of course the legislature came up with a map.
The Demoncrat governor rejected it.
The PA Supreme Court - that has no authority to draw maps - came up with this.

"The legislature could not come up with a map."
You don't know the facts of the case. The legislature did come up with a map and it was signed by then Governor Corbett in 2011. That legislative map was good for the 2012, 2014 and 2016 elections. What's changed? Oh, that's right the court is now dominated by Democrats. A complaint was made (after three successful election cycles mind you) and the Pa Supreme Court (again now dominated by left wingers) decided it was no good. One of their own (Judge Baer) even dissented.
We now have a court dominated by democrats and whatever the Republican controlled congress comes up with will be vetoed by the Democrat governor (which it was). The drawing of the congressional maps is clearly the purview of the Congress, not the court.

Other issues are not mandated by the United States Constitution.
The Pa Court gave an inappropriate timeline to create the new map - a couple of weeks.
The legislature actually came up with a new map. The Gov refused to sign it.
The Feds need to step in and Spank the out of control Democrat judges (both federal and Pa court)
