The difference between Leftists and Conservatives is that conservatives create and follow the law so as to maintain a civil society. The leftist create and use the law so as to move their agenda forward, whch entails militating against their political opponents, ie, creating laws that criminalizes normal, everyday behavior.

The constitutional purpose of the census is to count citizens, and the State in which they reside. Everything else is mush.
