Comey Is Now Weighing in on Scooter Libby Pardon
Townhall.com ^ | April 17, 2018 | Cortney O'Brien

Former FBI Director-turned media darling James Comey is being sought for his opinion on all sorts of matters.

We know what he thinks of President Trump. He's "morally unfit" to be president, Comey told ABC's George Stephanopoulos in an interview that aired in its entirety Sunday night. It's all in his new book.

Now, he's doing live studio interviews. On "Good Morning America" Tuesday, Comey explained how Trump "attacked the rule of law" with his latest pardon.

Comey days that Trump's Scooter Libby pardon was "an attack on the rule of law." "There's no reason that's consistent with justice to pardon him." (via ABC) pic.twitter.com/GLeqpgQ7Z8— Kyle Griffin (@kylegriffin1) April 17, 2018

"There’s a reason George W. Bush, for whom Scooter Libby worked, refused to pardon him after looking at all the facts in the case," Comey said. "It was an overwhelming case. There’s no reason that’s consistent with justice to pardon him, and so it’s an attack on the rule of law, in my view."

Libby was convicted in 2007 for lying to the FBI and obstruction of justice in the trial over former covert CIA officer Valerie Plame. Libby had been charged with perjury and obstruction of justice. He was given 30 months in prison and a $250,000 fine, until President Bush commuted his sentence. In 2015, one of the key witnesses against Libby recanted her testimony, believing the prosecutor withheld relevant information from her during interviews.

Trump pardoned Libby last week because "for years" he has been treated "unfairly."

Trump’s approval rating is going up.

Fags like this are part of the reason.

So keep talking, a-hole, you’re only making our case for us.

Comey, who may considered to be a fool, continues to remove all doubt.

Comey appointed Fitzgerald as Special Prosecutor in the Plame Case. What was unusual was that Fitzgerald was answerable to no one.

I'm getting sick of this catch all "lying to the FBI" noose.

If Comey had done his investigation properly, he would have found the real outer.....cuz it wasn't Scooter.

At the risk of being impolite, I would like to point out James Comey was in charge of the investigation of Bill Clinton's last minute pardon of fugitive criminal financier Marc Rich and was personally responsible for “ exonerating” ( most say white washing ) Bill Clinton for the pardon

The Marc Rich pardon is considered one of the biggest miscarriage of justice and corrupt pardons in American history

Comey went on to land a job with Lockheed that netted him a six million dollar payout in about 5 years . suspicion is that Lockheed gave Comey the job as a bribe in exchange for political support for their military contracts by then Senator Hillary Clinton

With each emerging quip elicited by his deep state fawning liar media, this imbecile shows how deeply partisan he was and is, and ...

to think he was the Director of the FBI?

Can it be more obvious?

I am impatient that Mueller, Comey, Obama and the rest are filled with hubris and are freely judging us all and punishing us through courts and government officials. I believe God is giving these types time to repent. May we survive with the American way of life intact while He does so.

Help me out. I thought a pardon was a gift of mercy, not a declaration of innocence.

Comey and the stripper and the big mouth kid (Hogg) are the dems stars piling on Trump. Says volumes about the dems.

Comey and Fitzgerald are well acquainted. Fitzgerald is a godfather to one of Comey's daughters ... the whole thing is incestuous.

Armitage (scummy) voted for Hillary. Another reason Trump pardoned Scooter. See my next post.

The FBI trap....Scooter was convicted of obstruction of justice and lying to the FBI. Notice a pattern in all of Comey’s works.

Look at the people sitting in judgment and making official pronouncements: the little Hogg twerp, Stormy Daniels, and now Comey.
