Just call them soy sprouts.
What could possibly go wrong?
I heard last night that Girl Scouts is in the process of disappearing as girls decide to butch out.
How ironic is the statement “sauce for the goose?”
Just like womans’ sports teams being taken over by male trannies and women-only facilities being legally targeted, the women are going to find that the one thing they should OT ask for is “equality.”
And beginning immediately, all boys will be required to speak with higher-pitched voices.
Why are the dens single sex?
Since they have decided that boy scouts aren’t really just for boys, why would they decide that the cub scout dens need to send the girls to a separate but equal all girls den?
Or are they acknowledging that maybe there are some differences between boys and girls, and that maybe there are appropriate circumstances to have separate organizations for boys and girls??
But then if that’s what they are thinking, then why did they decide to allow girls in the boy scouts in the first place?
I took my boys out. We had been in since tiger and gone all the way to scout. Screw this crap. They really weren’t even liking it any longer.
Normal boys don’t want to go into Girl Scouts, and they don’t want girls in Boy Scouts because it is for boys.
Girls just want to go into Boy Scouts because they aren’t wanted there, they want to take it over, destroy Boy Scouts as it was known and either cause it to close down or turn into something they and their leftist parents want it to be.
It is much like leftists who go to other states and try to destroy them by taking over.
In other news, pre-teen birthrates are increasing.
What a joke scouting has become
BSA haters here will never grasp the fact that the only constant is change.
The gradual change coming to the BSA is increased family participation. This participation is now to include sisters. It is not as if there is drastic change coming from left field. The off the books inclusion of sisters has been tacitly in effect for some time.
Will formal inclusion actually work, be a benefit for both families and BSA? That is unknown.
The antiBSA’ers here are ignorant of the fact that the individual Scout unit is owned and operated by a sponsoring institution that controls the unit through a Institutional Representative and a Pack or Troop committee. This governance can decide to proceed by expanding their current effort to include sisters and girls or not.
I disagree. Boys need to be in an environment where they can be themselves amongst other boys. Adding girls totally changes the dynamics.
“Girls just want to go into Boy Scouts because they arent wanted there, they want to take it over, destroy Boy Scouts as it was known and either cause it to close down or turn into something they and their leftist parents want it to be.”
Maybe. But around here it’s because the Brownies and Girl Scouts are run by angry men-hating lesbians, so Cub Scouts at the Baptist Church were good enough to let the girls in.
Right. Feminists do not wish to permit male bonding. They feel threatened by it. Meanwhile, feminists are all for male-exclusionary female-bonding spaces.
I got kicked out of Cub Scout....
That’s an old one. We used to use that joke when we were kids. Of course we did not quite know what it meant.
That may be, I understand that completely. But why destroy Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts by making them coed? (which is what I think will eventually happen)
One of the best things as a young boy in both Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts was having that sex issue completely removed from the equation.
You could be with other boys, doing the things that boys liked to do without worrying about interacting with girls, which is kind of a big deal at that age. It is stifling for some boys in much the same way people say girls are stifled by boys in a mixed environment at that age.
I really don't have a problem with it. As long as the individual parents who form the leadership of the troop don't have a problem with it. Troops always work best when the parents are involved and watch everything.
I think that as girls go into Boy Scouts there may be a drop off of girl activity. Most girls are not fond of raw camping.
I am not in the least ignorant of what you describe. It just doesn’t happen, and the first time someone DOES challenge it with a lawsuit, the organization will fold like a cheap suit and comply.
Like others, I recall being a young boy, perhaps not as “sophisticated” in all things as the boys today, but for years as a grade schooler and even into high school, being around girls was awkward at best.
And that was long before open homosexuality and mixed troops were even a glimmer in a leftist eye.
“Of course we did not quite know what it meant.”
It means, “ten’ll get you twenty,” or thereabouts.
