And if 7 12 gauge 00 rounds are fired from an 870 in 3 seconds, which is entirely possible, that would shoot 63 30 caliber pellets. 63 pellets in 3 seconds is actually faster than the full automatic bullet fire rate of the M4 rifle and every bump stock ever made.

If we turned this thread into a debate over AR vs. shotgun as better at distances of 75 feet and less, I suspect there would be as many shotgun advocates as AR advocates, except shotguns with OO buck are a lot less sexy than ARs. That totally supports your point because the left is trying to demonize ARs simply because they are black and based on a military design, not because they are any more lethal in moderate range environments. Hence, the whole idea is to familiarize people with the “legitimacy” of trying to outlaw one kind of gun to make it easier to outlaw all guns.
The last 100 year old handgun I had could empty a mag of .45 in less than one second by utilizing low powered rounds and a loose hand grip.
So does that mean the ten who perished are less dead then those who died from other weapons?
