Climate change is over.
[snip]
Judged by deeds rather than words, most national governments are backing away from forced-marched decarbonization. ...President Trumps ostentatious withdrawal from the Paris Agreement merely ratified a trend long becoming evident.
[snip]
Climate alarm is like a car alarma blaring noise people are tuning out.
This outcome was predictable. Political scientist Anthony Downs described the downward trajectory of many political movements in an article for the Public Interest, Up and Down With Ecology: The Issue-Attention Cycle, published in 1972, long before the climate-change campaign began. ...Mr. Downs discerned a five-stage cycle through which political issues pass regularly.
The first stage involves groups of experts and activists calling attention to a public problem, which leads quickly to the second stage, wherein the alarmed media and political class discover the issue. The second stage typically includes a large amount of euphoric enthusiasmyou might call it the dopamine stageas activists conceive the issue in terms of global peril and salvation.
[snip]
Then comes the third stage: the hinge.: a gradually spreading realization that the cost of solving the problem is very high indeed.
[snip]
...This third stage, Mr. Downs continues, becomes almost imperceptibly transformed into the fourth stage. In the final stage, Mr. Downs concludes, an issue that has been replaced at the center of public concern moves into a prolonged limboa twilight realm of lesser attention or spasmodic recurrences of interest.
Environmental issues suffer this decline, because solving such issues involves painful trade-offs that committed climate activists would rather not make.
Treating climate change as a planet-scale problem that could be solved only by an international regulatory scheme transformed the issue into a political creed for committed believers.
Causes that live by politics, die by politics.

There is no “science in Political Science. It is sociology with a focus on mass governance.

Hope this helps.
Climate change, er, global warming, is nothing more than an income redistribution scheme and an excuse to hand over more power to those who wish to lord it over us. That’s why it is dying.
I draw your attention to my tagline.
>>1) Its existence
2) Its cause
3) Its impact
4) Its solution<<
4) is all set: tax the living crap out of everyone and use it to establish big, useless bloated bureaucracies with great salaries at the very top and to propr op despots worldwide.
AGW solved!
Ive moved to what I think is the proper solution to all this liberal caterwauling about race, income inequality, LGBT-whatever, big bad Oil, climate change, etc. etc. etc.
Dont react, just ignore!
Just do a web search using the title...youll get itThank you for not suggesting GOOGLE the title.
Science uses the scientific method, which requires the conduct of controlled experiments with reproducible results.
It is impossible to conduct controlled climate experiments, much less obtain reproducible results, therefore climate science is not science.
This wins the internets of the day award.
From the very minute that Dr. Stephen Schneider (one of my former professors) abandoned New Ice Age in favor of Global Warming and simultaneously abandoned science in favor of politics, this has been doomed. The big lie was a good one and it lasted much longer than it deserved, but truth has prevailed. The ignoramuses and the crazies will continue on, but the grand theft of taxpayers dollars are over.
Yes...we should have a pool! My bet is volcanoes being erupted by fracking!LOL!
I HATE blank
But how will Al Gore survive?

You can do a search for passwords and they’ll come up. bugmenot.com has a password for everything.
I just wish some rich people would start really believing in “climate change” so they would sell their seaside property dirt cheap!
....except in Kalifornia, where it’s the state religion.
