All the attention was on the Super Tuesday Primaries today, and the lefturds snuck this one under the radar. That has been the M.O.

One thing that the media and lefturds are doing well is coordinating on social media and phone-text banking so that they KNOW about these things and they get the deranged moonbats to vote.

I didn’t know this election was happening today, and I’ve been TRYING to pay attention. All the media attention was on the primaries, which are NOT taking place in Missouri today.

MO is still a Red state.

In an off-year elections, Dems have made gains in special elections.

If there is a Blue Wave in November, then its time to panic.

There are 34 seats and the Republicans will still have a 24-10 majority after this special election.

If there is a blue wave in November it’s too late.

Turnout here was apparently 1/4th that of November 2016. It was a battle between 2 House members from adjoining districts.

The former GOP Senate incumbent got 51k votes, the State Rep running for this seat didn’t even get 10k (so not even 20% of the GOP voters bothered to vote). The Dem got 32k votes in 2016, the Dem this time got almost 15k, so almost half the Dems turned out. If the same % of Republicans turned out, Corlew (the Republican) would’ve won by 10,000 votes.

I will add, however, this was a district that only mildly went to Trump. The State House district (Corlew’s) actually voted for Hillary by a very narrow margin (Corlew won with just 5% and less than 900 votes). He is still running for reelection to his seat this year, but it could give Dems pause that he is beatable.

The Senate seat should come back in 2020, especially with Trump likely to get a larger %.

Curiously, the woman who won, Lauren Adams, looks like the former SNL player Amy Poehler.

Hard to figure out the results on a off year special, election. Turnout was weak. I doubt if most people in the district gave it much of a thought. Of course the media will give it their usual spin.
