Finally: an NBC reporter says something we can heartily agree with . . .
On todays Morning Joe, NBC political correspondent Kasie Hunt, speaking of [putative] Republican Sen. Bob Corkers grilling of Secretary of State Mike Pompeo at yesterdays Senate hearing, said:
Bob Corker sounded like the Democrats.

Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.
Bob Corker is almost as bad as Jeff Flake. Both are useless, but in some ways Corker did more damage. For all the noise he is making on Russia, he is the only who facilitated Obama’s disastrous Iran deal.
Important point.
rbg: Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, welcome to FreeRepublic! ;-)
Can’t even get a modicum of courage from a guy that is retiring.
No, Corker sounds like:
1) The ‘Duck Face’ character at the end of Four Weddings And A Funeral
2) NY Islanders GM Lou Lamoriello when Pajama Boy John Tavares signed with the Leafs on July 1st
3) A Four-year-old throwing a tantrum when you take their favorite toy away and send them to sit in the corner
4) Like someone who buys into the concept of a safe space for non-Trump voters
Take your pick! Vote now!
Corker is auditioning for an MSNBC gig.
That, or a job with a Dem lobbying firm.
There is a complete realignment of party membership going on. The people on one side. The elites on the other. It’s going to take a few more years till it’s all worked out. But when it’s over with, the republicans will be purged and the democrats are going to be decimated. And the country’s unquestioned leader will be Donald Trump.
Corker has one last chance to turn his back on the Republican Party and the president by not voting to confirm Judge Kavanaugh
Corker is resigning for a reason. Likely did some things he shouldn’t have and he knows Trump knows.
Corker, his cohort Lamar! Alexander, and several of the representatives are an embarrassment to the state of Tennessee. They are the result of open primaries, where leftists can cross parties and soil the contest, and a lack of runoff when a candidate doesn’t get 50% or more of the votes in a primary.
But the bigwigs in the Tennessee Republican Party don’t see anything wrong with this, as they continue to produce unprincipled, weak candidates.
Before I muted him he was complimenting Pompeo and Mattis. Playing the old conquer and divide game. (We like you but not your boss)
I love that little I know all about you dude smirk that Pompeo had on his face. Lol.
He didn’t resign, he decided not to run since he couldn’t muster the votes prior to his primary.....his own district despised him....
He couldn’t run for dog catcher in his district....
LOL. Welcome? I’ve been a member of FR since 2004 and been visiting it since 1998.
But.....you can just call me Ruth.
I pray to God you are right
corker is auditioning for CNN/’SNBC spot to cash in after he leaves Senate. he just oozes disingenuousness out of all his orifices. can’t abide him. this was a double whammy with him and Flake on same panel. but Pompeo kept it in hand. love him!
No shocker there. Corker does appear to be supporting Bredesen over Blackburn for Senate in TN.
"Mawwiage . . ."
