Mutual assistance and morale building are good, though. How about finding out if he can be okay’d for visas for speeches, interviews and other visits? There should be some remedies for minor issues in personal histories. It might help their efforts in the U.K., if some of them were to spend some time in the U.S. rural Midwest, for example. They would get to see a great social environment for sure and gather more motivation and ideas from that.

If he’s going to be retried I have to wonder under what conditions he will be released? Will he be able to speak about his case in public under English law? Can he speak to an end that will bias people against his accusers? Maybe. Years ago after My divorce one woman I dated was most of the time bitching about America. It was “this is better in England, that is better in England...” One she used way too much was complaining about Grocery Stores not being like the street vendors/small shops in England and over there one would shop every day and over here one had to buy stuff for a week or two. Well duh, they use Lucas Refrigerators ! And nobody is making her stop for weeks of food, he!! Shop 8 or 12 times a week if you want to.
I had finally heard enough about it and looked her in the eyes and said “if you don’t like America then go back across the Pond, take your 2 sniveling spoiled, non-disciplined children and your Dual Citizenship to mommy and the royals. But stop bitching about My Country. We kicked Y’All’s a$$e$ before and can do it again and We saved it twice!!!” Needless to say that was the end of that Dating situation.
Sorry about your experience with her. It depends on the person, I guess. I’ve met men and women from various parts of the U.K. who like the U.S.A., and some who moved here. As for the women, well, they’re women, you know, with women’s concerns. ;-)
