Obviously, their financial health doesn't depend on the size of their US audience, and their owner doesn't see its mission as reaching the largest possible audience in the United States.

Your summary is spot on. I’m a conservative female and I can’t stand to watch the Hallmark Channel. I despise corny “female” films and Christmas movies. I know I’ll get a lot of grief over that one.

Cable news, cable *anything* lately is getting crushed. Thank God. So many of the Fox cadre (VIP, management & reporter level alike) are never-Trump|Swamp|Deep Statists.

From the time I was 18 years old until just a few years ago my duties were very high stress. Because of that my taste in movies is something many men would laugh at and I sure hate those stupid fight movies as well as anything like the Jason Bourne movies.

I like things that do not make me have to think a lot and I like happy endings.
