The Palestinians have been playing the long con with the "right of return" issue, which was always more of a fantasy than reality. They conned the UN for years about the number of "refugees," when in fact, the vast majority of Palestinians in refugee camps have no "right" to return to anything. Many were urged to leave by Arab leaders in 1948, others were abroad and never lived in Israel.

UNRWA, classifies Palestinian refugees as those who left Israel in 1948; those who left the West Bank and Gaza Strip in 1967; those who were abroad but were subsequently not allowed to return to Israel; and all of their descendants. Israel believes the UNRWA statistics are exaggerated and further distinguishes “refugees” from “displaced persons” and from “expired permit Palestinians” who were abroad at the time the conflicts ensued and were not allowed to return.
This doesn't lessen the misery of Palestinians in those refugee camps, but whose fault is that? Arab nations refuse to grant Palestinians in the camps citizenship, preferring to pen them up in rancid conditions and treat them as non-people. The UNRWA facilitates the misery and the UN and international community are accessories to the crimes as the Palestinian people are under the delusion that a "right of return" will be part of any settlement with Israel.

The Fakestinians have no right to return (sic) to a country that was never theirs to begin with. They should be repatriated to their own Muslim- conquered countries ( Egypt, Arabia, Iraq, Syria when the war stops, etc). Problem solved. Period.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman reportedly... told Abbas he has two months to either accept the Saudi proposal or leave office to make way for a new Palestinian leader... It reportedly proposes the establishment of limited Palestinian sovereignty over small portions of Judea and Samaria. The Gaza Strip, over which the Palestinians have had full sovereignty since Israel pulled its military forces and civilians out in 2005, would be expanded into the northern Sinai, thus providing economic and territorial viability to the envisioned Palestinian state... able to establish their capital in the Jerusalem suburb of Abu Dis.
the whole concept of a ‘Palestinian people’ is a fraud in the first place.
They are Arabs. Nothing more, nothing less. And there are plenty of Arab States for them to choose from.
I’m for acknowledging a right of going away and ending the refugee status by sending them all to live in place that their parents and grandparents listened to when those nations attacked Israel.

Why should that be Israel's problem? Actually the Israelis do treat the Palis there better than their Arab brethren, it's the dirty little secret they don't want you to know.
El Ezhar will probably issue a fatwa denouncing Prince Mohammed. He’ll have cover from his top cleric, and he has leverage over the Palis, but it will not be neatly done, and might end badly. So give Prince Mo a kudo for courage.
Feed them just enough to stay alive, keep them penned up and feral, and they can be very useful against your enemies.
But you never invite them in your house.
Why should that be Israel’s problem?
Because they are the cannon fodder of the ME, the Arab equivalent of Soviet Shock Troops.Nothing good comes from them or any other ME Muslim Arabs. Israel should have driven them out in ‘48, like the Arab states did Jews, Christians and anyone who wasn’t them.
