Political analyst predicts 25 Dems will run for president in 2020
Political analyst Bill Schneider predicted on Tuesday that 25 Democrats would launch presidential bids to challenge President Trump in 2020.
"My guess is that in 2020, we're going to see 25 Democrats running for president. Every Democrat thinks, why not me?" Schneider told Hill.TV's Joe Concha on "What America's Thinking."
"I'll take the over. It might be 30," Hill campaign reporter Reid Wilson interjected.
"Might be 30. How are you going to have a debate? You're going to have to have six layers of debates. It's going to be quite remarkable," Schneider added.
Speculation has mounted around various high-profile Democrats on whether they will launch presidential bids in 2020.
Democratic Sens. Kamala Harris (Calif.), Cory Booker (N.J.), Kirsten Gillibrand (N.Y.), and Elizabeth Warren (Mass.) have been floated as potential contenders, while former New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu and former Boston Mayor Deval Patrick have also been named as possible candidates.

RAT FIGHT Wheeeeeeee!!!!!
I wonder if Kankles wil be one of the 25.......
“...former Boston Mayor Deval Patrick have also been named as possible candidates.”
Wrong!
A good ole Stalinist orgy. Hopefully they all bring guns and lots of ammo to the shooting circle.
How many TV show hosts will run thinking they can pull off what Trump did?
Oh, they can run as many as possible. We just need to concentrate on one good man who walks with the Lord and loves America as envisioned by the Founding Fathers, flaws and all.
Gang of 25 lost one of their charter members, John Kerry, withdrew his name from the potential candidates.
And every one will go home a loser.
I hear Saint Juan of McQueeg is still available.
Crazy on parade.
Wrong. My Ouija Board says only 12 will run. All old timers we know, save for one. Who will win. a white man from New England with a famous last name. His VP will be a woman. Hillary will not even try.
I don’t think so.
After the Blue Wave crashes on the shoals of reality in November, and the GOP still holds Congress, a lot of this irrational exuberance will be toned down, especially by the likes of Chuckie Schumer. They’ll use the Superdelegates to wrest control of the party from the new wave of Socialists trying to take it over, and they’ll lock down control again. I figure you’ll see no more than half a dozen candidates, with the Dem establishment backing their chosen horse all the way.
Deval Patrick will make a speech or two, but is mostly there as a potential VP guy.
I tend to disagree on the 25 democrats in the running. They’d all require significant funding, which isn’t going to exist. I think the gameplan is to get a good eight folks into this and NOT have a clear winner before the convention....then have the VIP delegates get their pick from the Convention to face Trump.
I’ll even go out and predict that no New Englander Democrat will make it into the final three potential choices.
Lurch changed his mind?! Dang! I was looking forward to him getting swift-boated a second time, that would have been a lot of fun.
Biden/Kamala Harris?
Biden/Rahm Emanuel?
BARF!
Pelosi, Waters, and Warren please.
“Lurch changed his mind?! Dang! I was looking forward to him getting swift-boated a second time, that would have been a lot of fun.”
The Demonrat Party has made a major turn to the left. This time Kerry would have to campaign as a war protestor and traitor to have a chance !
That won’t turn out well. They try to out-Trump Trump but end up being nasty and because of their socialist, bigotry, intolerance, and anti-American tendencies, they will alienate just about everyone. Buy stock in popcorn!
I think they neutered the super-delegates, at least publicly.
