Normally I'd agree with you, because 99% of the time the "innocent black killed by racist whitey cop" stories are distortions or outright lies. However, the fact that this police officer's story is that she walked into the wrong apartment by accident seems absurd. When is the last time you walked into someone else's house on accident thinking it was your own?

That would have been cut and dried justified shooting by the rightful inhabitant. The cop here effed up bad, no doubt, but wait for some facts. Manslaughter seems reasonable at present. Murder, no way with what little is known
