Hurricane Florence has been downgraded to a Category 2 storm but it is still considered an extremely dangerous and life-threatening storm.
As of 11 p.m., the storm was centered 280 miles east southeast of Wilmington, North Carolina, and was moving northwest at 17 mph. Its maximum sustained winds have dropped slightly to 110 mph.

Trump did it! Used his Magic Wand and downgraded it saving lives!
Let’s go for Cat 1.
Good FRiends, let’s get plenty of prayers up for the folks in SC, NC, and VA.
... and you all were mocking Pat Robertson, lol.
The last I heard man-made Gore-Bull Warming was supposed to kick it up to a category 6 superstorm!
that’s because pat robertson is ‘praying for a shield’ /s
wapo accused Trump of being complicit ie being the cause because he doesn’t believe in climate change caused by man- so i guess since the storm is downgrading, that is proof that man-caused climate change isn’t real, and it’s a good thing Trump is president otherwise the storm would be worse?
Wapo- they are out to lunch

Trump made it, and he also un-made it.
They'll probably give Obama some sort of award for that.
Prayers!
Sorry, but laughing my ass off here.
They’ve been trying to claim this was going to be one of the biggest of all time...
For the people in the area, I’m glad, but it sure stuck a thumb in the eye of the Leftists trying to game Trump and us on it.
More Gerbil Worming nonsense...

Karl Rove’s hurricane machine’s remote control needs new batteries. Triple “A”s.
Gerbil Warming, LOL! I am so going to steal that.
Now you are in an area that will have a 13 foot storm surge and say 30' of rain.
And your house is at an elevation of 4'.
So you are trying to get on the roof of your house with flooding rains and the 13' storm surge. Now you are trying to do this in 100 mph winds.
You are trying to get on the roof since there 5' of water in your house, and it is rising rapidly.
Also, the force of the water and wind may shortly destroy the house you decided to ride out the storm in...
Even if the house is made of brick, the concrete foundation is being eroded away...
TRANSLATED: you are screwed. And even if there is not 150 mph winds, the above is a very bad situation...
Also, the storm is starting to spawn TORNADOES...
You should have evacuated...
I LOLed
The blunt truth is, homes should not be built 4’ above sea level in areas prone to hurricanes.
Another report states..
Circulating reports claiming the weakening of Florence is a big deal are ‘wrong’.... The wind field remains HUGE & maximum 9-13 surge is still likely....This is nearly irrelevant because hurricane-force winds extend outward up to 70 miles from the center and tropical-storm-force winds now extend outward up to 195 miles....It will regenerate before landfall to a cat 4 or Cat 5 hurricane quickly.
