Sure, there will be plenty. But the whole senate hasn't voted and there is time to muddy the nominee before then even the committee had voted last week. To repeat, this a no-win situation, either it's a rush job ignoring an accuser, or it's a needless delay allowing more shenanigans. Either way it is designed to rev up the blue vote, nothing more than that.
Is Eshoo the Rep from Ford’s district? Do they know each other? Those possibilities could explain why Ford gave it to her.
The GOP should have put a tourniquet on this long ago and rolled the dice on a failure. Now we’re looking at a bleed-out and death of a nomination. Makes me wonder if they aren’t in on the scam that’s being played out. They seem disinterested in winning the mid-terms, so why not throw the SCOTUS nomination too? No interviews with friends, colleagues nor neighbors. No pictures of her. She doesn't want to travel, nor does she want to be interviewed in public. No one has ever seen or met her, except for Feinstein and her cronies, we are told. Bizarre.

Why would the majority on the committee allow Feinstein to REFUSE to hand the letter over to the whole committee? That just doesn’t make any sense! Someone on the majority side ought to “pretend” they have a letter but they aren’t allowed to show it - a letter from xx number of people who signed saying the accuser is a nutcase!!!!

It is possible, perhaps likely depending on one's intuition, that Ford was coached to send the statement to Eshoo for forwarding to Feinstein in order to avoid criminal liability under a federal statute pertaining to making false statements to the senate.
If coached, the question is by whom? Her attorney, Feinstein, a Feinstein aide, etc.?
