Gillibrand calls for Kavanaugh nomination to be withdrawn

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) is calling for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh's nomination to be withdrawn following two sexual misconduct allegations against him.

Gillibrand on Sunday tweeted her support for Deborah Ramirez, the woman who hours earlier went public in The New Yorker with her accusations against Kavanaugh. Ramirez is alleging that Kavanaugh exposed himself without her consent when the two attended Yale University together in the 1980s.

When framed that way, Sen. Gillibrand would protest, “I’m not the one on trial here!”

But then, Judge Kavanaugh is not on trial either. The “court of public opinion” is notorious for its ignorance of the law and the niceties of civilized discourse. “Trial” by the howling mob is no trial at all, it is a purge and a wedge opening to anarchy.

Ramirez is alleging that Kavanaugh exposed himself without her consent when the two attended Yale University together in the 1980s.

That is a ridiculous allegation. Since when does everyone in the audience at an event attended by adults need to consent to nudity? If you go to a social event, and nudity occurs, then you either leave or stay. When Karen Finley takes her clothes off during a performance she doesn't have the prior consent of everybody in the audience.

Assuming the story Ms. Ramirez told is even partly true, and somebody chose to expose their genitals at a private party, then it was her option to leave. Instead she admits she chose to touch the person's exposed genitals. That's something that does require consent, making her the perpetrator of a sexual assault.

I call for Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) to resign

There are credible anonymous online accusations that Gillibrand is a serial molester of Cub Scouts.

You might start by asking Gillibrand about that $800k+ the law firm Boies Schiller Flexner, representing Harvey Weinstein, gave her campaign(s).

While you’re at it, ask her (and everyone else) about allegations concerning Keith Ellison and domestic abuse. Here’s one link from WCCO in Minneapolis:

https://minnesota.cbslocal.com/2018/09/20/keith-ellison-doctors-note-ex-girlfriend/

Also a thread here I started:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3689054/posts

Oh, yes, Ellison is a co-chair of the DNC in addition to running for Minnesota’s Attorney General.

See how far, or how many media outlets pick up the story. Note carefully how many people have intellectual honesty, and journalistic integrity.

Great post, but the meme picture of the beaten woman has NOT been verified by sources as being that of Karen Monahan.

Unless it’s in a public record, such as a police report, I tend to distrust unsourced pictures of anything.

As a side note to this thread, please consider the following concerning the Senate.

When the states wake up and repeal the ill-conceived 17th Amendment, the repeal amendment needs to include the following provisions.

One provision would be for the states to give themselves the express power to recall corrupt lawmakers so that we don’t have to suffer until next election before getting rid of them.

The other provision would prohibit political party association for popularly elected federal officials.

Note that when patriots support Pres. Trump in politically “forcing” the corrupt feds to surrender state powers that the feds have been stealing from the states back to the states, since the main federal domestic power that the states have expressly constitutionally delegated to the feds to define domestic policy is to run the US Mail Service (1.8.7), please consider this.

After Trump strips stolen state powers from the feds and citizens start working with their state lawmakers for the social spending programs that the citizens of a given states want, as the Founding States had intended for citizens to do, citizens are probably going to lose interest in what’s happening in DC anyway.

In fact, the congressional record shows that constitutional lawmaker Rep. John Bingham had clarified the unique, 10th Amendment power to care for the people as follows.

”... the care of the property, the liberty, and the life of the citizen, under the solemn sanction of an oath imposed by your Federal Constitution, is in the States, and not in the Federal Government [emphases added].” —Rep. John Bingham, Congressional Globe, 1866. (See about middle of 3rd column.)

This from a person who had greedily accepted nearly a million dollars in campaign contributions over the years from David Boise’s law firm — the same David Boise who allegedly worked behind the scenes to kill negative new reports in the New York Times about Harvey Weinstein while representing both the New York Times and Weinstein:

Just finished sending the beyotch an email:

Dear Senator Gillibrand:

I read your comments this morning regarding your call for the nomination of Judge Kavanaugh to be withdrawn. I find that you may be jumping the gun with this demand, seeing that the Democrats have failed to listen to, or take seriously, the claims of abuse against Democrat Representative Keith Ellison. Allegedly, the DNC is investigating these allegations, including the 911 recording which are supposed to support these allegations. How is the DNC qualified to investigate claims of sexual abuse? Shouldn't this be conducted by a qualified law enforcement agency? And why haven't the Democrats called for a proper Congressional investigation, or FBI investigation into these allegations? After all, they aren't from 36 years ago.

It appears to me that you lack the ability to judge character, seeing as you worked closely with, and vigorously supported New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman for years. You looked him in the eye regularly, probably exchanged hugs and kisses with him over the years, but you were unable to perceive the monster that was inside. Surely you had heard rumors and innuendoes about Schneiderman's bizarre behavior. That stuff gets around, especially in the work place. Abusers try to hide their ugly habits, but they can't do it consistently, or forever. At some point during their daily lives, their abusive manners will rear their ugly head. I have a hard time believing that you never suspected Schneiderman's true nature. That's why it is very hard for me to believe your judgement regarding Judge Kavanaugh. You knew Schneiderman, probably sat across a table from him on numerous occasions, spoke frequently, attended parties/fund raisers together, etc., yet you had no idea what an animal he was? And here, we have a well-liked and respected Judge, one who has already been vetted by the FBI on six different occasions during his years of service, and he's being maligned, based on the allegations of two women who admit to having been stinking drunk, and unable to remember pertinent information that would be needed to pursue any type of investigation. And yet you support their claims, without knowing them, without any corroborating witnesses willing to come forward, and without the qualities that a lawyer is supposed to have, being unbiased, and viewing each individual as innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

In closing, I have to say that based on your narrow viewpoints, your bias, and your past failure to recognize a sexual abuser when you meet one, that I'm rather skeptical about your judgement skills, especially when it comes to Judge Kavanaugh.

sen"I believe her because she tells the truth." Sen. Gillibrand commited a logical fallacy called begging the question. Begging the question does not mean raising a question, it means circular reasoning.

Senator Gillibrand is simply mouthing what the democrats hoped to achieve with this last minute accusation against Brett Kavanaugh. That is what this is all about.
