Something hit me as I was driving to work this morning. I was listening to Greg Laurie on the car radio and he was talking about the apostles and the extreme persecution that they were subjected to because of their steadfast stand for their faith. It made me cry when Greg spoke of some of the horrendous things that happened to them and how they stood strong in their faith until the very end. The Bible said that in the end times that many will be persecuted for their faith and there have been an enormous number of Christians of diverse heritages that have face extreme persecution even unto death in other countries around the world. I will never forget the pictures of those Coptic Christians that would not deny their faith, lined up on their knees on the beach to be beheaded by Muslim extremists a few years ago! Persecution has gone on in several countries around the world, so much so that Christians have had to resort to “underground’ churches to avoid being jailed or even killed. I can see the seeds of persecution in this country right now!! It dawned on me that the current situation in our country reminds me of how the Pharisees and Sadducees were so frightened that Jesus was a threat to their power that they were desperate to bring him down by any means necessary. I am in no means comparing President Trump and Judge Kavenaugh to Jesus or any of his apostles, but the similarities between the two situations are interesting to say the least. Think about it. President Trump has outwardly taken a stand for good in our country, speaks about God and faith and has vowed to “drain the swamp “and Judge Kavenaugh has led an exemplary life and seems to be an outstanding example of what a Christian man should be. The opposing party and their complicit allies in the media have thrown everything that they could think of at them in an attempt to destroy them both. Humans are intrinsically evil by nature and men have been abusing women from the beginning of time, but women have been falsely accusing men of such for just as long for ulterior means. The story of Joseph and Potiphar’s wife in the book of Genesis illustrates this clearly. The Pharisees and Sadducees whipped the masses of people into a frenzy with the result that they ultimately demanded that Jesus be crucified even though there was NO evidence that he had done anything wrong at all. Look at how the media has been continuously putting out false information and politicians such as Maxine Waters have been calling for thuggish behavior and whipping people up into frenzies to incite the nasty protests and invasions into public servants’ personal lives that have occurred recently, all with the intention to mislead and bully people into doing what they want to achieve their rotten to the core agendas and keep their power intact. The Bible says that in the end times that good will be called evil and evil will be called good and I can see that being manifested right before our eyes daily!! If we don’t get a handle on this purposeful degradation of our society and hold these people accountable for their blatant attempt to destroy good people and further their evil agendas, I really fear for the world that our we, our children and grandchildren will have to face in the near future!! I believe in fairness for all and I want to see our country thrive. I despise to see people divided, grouped and labeled according to their DNA and other criteria the way that they have been by some in this country. We are all individuals and have the right to think for ourselves without being judged and castigated by others as is so commonly done today! It is merely a means to control people and it is wrong!! I suggest that when you go to vote this November, take a good look in the mirror and honestly search your heart and vote accordingly. I pray that your conscience is not so dark that you can vote for the party that encourages the outrageous behaviors that we have all witnessed toward good people and the unbridled assault on innocent lives that they encourage and promote for various debased reasons and for outright profit for many!! I hope that your heart leads you in the right direction. Peace and love to you all.

Yes, persecution is coming if things keep heading the way they are. The only way things will have a lasting and substantive change, is if our nation turns back to God.
I’m not saying that is the case just for liberals, but for Conservatives as well. We need to turn our hearts back to the God who created and blessed us so abundantly.
When Donald Trump won the election, I knew it was a Gift from the Lord. Very very few thought it would happen. But I also believed it was a pause for this nation and wondered if we would use this time wisely to save our republic.

Thank you Xenia!! I really appreciate that!! Sometimes the pettiness on here amazes me too!! I even received a personal mail message berating me for my posting error after I asked for assistance in correcting it. I post very rarely and am a very busy person and took a lot of time to write that and feel bad that it wasn’t formatted correctly. Some people are just not very nice!! President Trump is a gift from God and we all had better get on board his train or our country will go down the tubes!!

Just yesterday, the "persecution" idea was the subject of a private conversation here, and there was agreement that years ago, most of us could read about "persecution" in the Bible and we had no personal identification with that term.
Today, any intelligent citizen who claims not to be able to identify with the term "persecution" has not been paying attention to the words and actions of individual Democrat Senators and their peers as they have attacked this nominee for the U. S. Supreme Court, Kavanaugh!
The political attacks undertaken by Democrats on this nominee should remind us that when a society abandons recognition of Creator's law as the basis of manmade laws and interactions between them, then that society turns to jungle law such as that being practiced before us in the United States Senate. As Mr. Trump often observes, "Sad!"
