ok
I hate ESPN, but when those “local” places sponsor the show, their wings can be showcased on it.
Unbelievable. Like going to Santa Fe and eating at Taco Bell.
How dumb!!!!!!! Always go with the local fares, it feels and shows you have interest in the local situation. There ain’t no way Applebee’s wings would be better than some local place.
However, it was incredibly tone-deaf for the ESPN crew to go to Applebees for buffalo wings in BUFFALO!
It would be like making a trip to Portland, ME and then going to the Red Lobster. Or going to this place in New York City for pizza!
FU ESPN. Mid major dumba$$es
Important part “which was sponsoring the show”. You don’t think they do those segments for fun do you? It’s all about the dollas.
I'll go out on a limb here and guess this has something to do with why they were at Applebee's.
This was the worse (mid game ad)
that’s like going to Olive Garden in Rome to get “Italian” food ...
Okay?
This is like the “outrage” of Mike Pence eating at Chili’s while in New York City back in 2016.
If you’re legitimately upset about where someone else eats, you’re a moron.
Hang em
Having eaten at the two locales in Buffalo that claim to have “invented” Buffalo wings, I’ll take Applebees. I don’t like New York burned thin crust pizza, or burnt Starbucks style (dark roast) coffee either, so shoot me.
What does espn do on Monday night in Buffalo? Who cares?
With the home of chicken wings (The Anchor Bar) still open and cranking out wings? Unbelievable.
Dumb.
Even dumber is “boneless chicken wings.”
NO SUCH THING!!!
Need a class action suit to make restaurants stop calling chicken breast with buffalo sauce boneless wings.
