As I read this article, my inner voice of the author kept getting higher and higher until it was a squeaky little mouse voice.

Because typing out the author’s name, Phillip K Dick, to a poster who has read the book isn’t necessary.

This new season, number 3, has really gone SYFI.

It has at least cleared up much of the muddled confusion of the first 2 seasons.

I have a similar habit of watching a short portion and turning to something else. Then, after reading recommendations and reviews, I try the series again and end up liking it.

I have done that with several series.

Boring show. Tried Season 1 for a few episodes and the pace moved so s-l-o-w.

They tried to emulate the "netflix" arc of a story unsuccessfully.

“Its that bad?”

the man in the high castle series is one of the most powerful things on tv right now ...

the first season starts VERY slow ... the second season is mind-blowing ... and the third season is almost as powerful as the second season ... btw, only an ignorant leftist moron would draw any parallels at all between that series and President Trump ...

Hmm, I quit after Season 2 ep 1. Think I’ll revisit it.

When discussing Handmaid’s Tale, I’ve heard the statement more than once “Doesn’t this seem relevant in 2018?”
I said yes, the Yazidi sex slaves under ISIS went through this and worse. The bring back our girls hash tag was referencing Christian school girls kidnapped by Boko Haram, and all we could do was post sad selfies. So yea, it is still relevant given the rise of fundamentalist Islam.
What bout Christianity?
That’s not the problem. And if you’re equating raped sex slaves with having to pay your own birth control, you’re being cruel to the real rape victims.

Season 2 was interesting except for the totally non relevant homosexual spin they put on a few characters, I mean it added NOTHING to the storyline, but that is Hollyweird.
Rufus Sewells character and the guy who plays the Inspector are fantastic.
The funny thing is that I don’t see it in anyway mirroring what is happening today, its just an interesting story, at least to me.

Just finished Season 3 and i really didn’t want it to end. I avoid trying to interpret anything into current politics which is really easy in Season 3. The acting was great as was the writing. It does go more “SyFy” which actually made it even more interesting.

I don’t want to spoil it for people out here who have not seen season 3.

I will say that this season makes it very clear what the Nazi party is trying to accomplish & how these strange films came into being.

It has some slow spots throughout but it is very well made.

The last episode of the current season looked good.

Hard to believe that 70s funny man Kenneth Tigar is Himmler.

Smith is my favorite on there. Talk about ruthless.

I’m not a huge science fiction guy, but I’m actually glad that was finally brought to the fore here in s3 so the story makes sense. Sure, there’s the obligatory gay characters, and some careless anachronistic phrases like “moral compass” and “straight” for non-homosexual, but it’s a ripping yarn, beautiful to look at, and I enjoyed s3

The culture war that existed well before Trump's election has never been more divisive.

I wonder who was president in the 8 years well before Trump's election?

It's like a mystery.
