Poll: Dana Rohrabacher Takes 9-Point Lead in CA-48, Holds Back ‘Blue Wave’
Brietbart ^ | 11/02/2018 | Joel Pollack

A new poll released Friday shows incumbent Republican Rep. Dana Rohrabacher with a nine-point lead over Democrat challenger Harley Rouda with just days to go before the midterm elections on November 6. .......................................................

Strategist John Thomas notes: “While California overall breaks in favor of Democrats and against Trump, CA-48 is proving to be the firewall holding back the blue wave.”

The poll is the first to show Rohrabacher with a statistically significant lead.

Rohrabacher’s rise in the polls is remarkable, given that Rouda and his allies have outspent Rohrabacher many times over. ..........................................

Thomas elaborated on other factors helping Rohrabacher:

Trump is popular [in the district], Republicans are winning the generic ballot and there is a slight edge for the amount of voters who want Trump’s agenda to be pushed in Congress.

.... Despite poor favorability for a 29-year incumbent, Rohrabacher has been given life support from Donald Trump.

"Last month, former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg dumped $4 million into the race against Rohrabacher, making the contest for the 48th district one of the most expensive in the country."

Rouda has attacked Rohrabacher for supporting closer relations with Russia, an attack that has faltered as the story of “Russian collusion” has faded from the headlines in recent months for lack of evidence.

Probably good news for Mimi Walters in the adjacent 45th district too. Demographics for the 45th and 48th districts are similar except for the dolts that attend UC Irvine and Soka University (in the 45th).

CA will return 14 Republicans to the House.

How many will your state send?

A sudden, overnight 9 point lead?

Right

Looks like the vote suppression push polls are ending and Democrats are now trying to get their base scared to get out the vote

Polls have become meaningless and exist primarily as propaganda tools to manipulate us

This is one of the seven California seats the Dims need to flip in order to take the house. They are in la la land if they think Orange County and other red districts in California will turn blue! I had an organizer for Gil Cisneros show up at my door talking trash about Young Kim. I told him to go the other side of the tracks where the real Democrat trash is located!

Even Jeff Denham is expected to win his Turlock/Modesto district with a 39% Hispanic population.

Those parts of California that are NOT overrun by rabid, anti-Trumper frothing-at-the-mouth barking moonbats are actually pretty conservative.

Mostly just the coastal part, including the LA region, the San Francisco Bay-Marin County-Sacramento areas, and a few isolated “blue” enclaves, but numerically they hold the greatest part of the population.

“CA will return 14 Republicans to the House.”

Polling is pretty slim on most races in FL. The FL-27th is one district that the DNC is counting on to flip the house. Remember Donna Shalala, the Clinton hack? She’s trying to take the seat but the Cuban/American community down there has a few things to say about that...she’s losing:)
