Dont worry Linda. If we need to clean up a few spots later we can do it from the air
We never should have been there in the first place, ya poof.
In that part of the world, who knows what’s best. But there are a lot of people with whiplash who now have yo change from fight them on their turf to it no longer makes sense to pay for it.
Evil minds that plot destruction
Sorcerers of death’s construction
In the fields the bodies burning
As the war machine keeps turning
Death and hatred to mankind
Poisoning their brainwashed minds
It’s funny to watch these GOPe pick and choose when to support Trump’s foreign policy. Saudi Arabaia = Bad. Syria intervention= good. They blow with the wind. Juts pathetic.
you won’t fund the wall, well I’m ending your war
And I’ll take the remaining DOD war $ to build the wall
The White House says U.S. has started returning troops home from Syria as it transitions to next phase of campaign. Additionally, all U.S. State Department personnel are being evacuated from Syria within 24 hours (link).
White House – “Five years ago, ISIS was a very powerful and dangerous force in the Middle East, and now the United States has defeated the territorial caliphate. These victories over ISIS in Syria do not signal the end of the Global Coalition or its campaign. We have started returning United States troops home as we transition to the next phase of this campaign. The United States and our allies stand ready to re-engage at all levels to defend American interests whenever necessary, and we will continue to work together to deny radical Islamist terrorists territory, funding, support, and any means of infiltrating our borders.” (Link)
The UniParty Decepticons will not be pleased…
Napoleon famously said, “If you’re going to attack Vienna, attack Vienna.”
IOW, go after your enemy with sufficient power to crush him, or prepare to have your ass handed to you. In the case of ISIS, hobbling our troops with narrow rules of engagement while doing anything less than all out war to win leads to stalemate, wasted treasure, and misspent lives.
More likely, he as a rewarding under the table financial situation at risk if we withdraw.
Not bad. Yours?
Lindsey was first, and always a Neocon and McCain’s butt buddy.
Sounds good to me.
thanks for those relevant lyrics from Geezer Butler.

Military Times: Defense Secretary Jim Mattis and other top military officials tried to discourage Trump from ordering the withdrawal, saying it was a bad idea and would risk ceding control of Syria to Iran and Russia or give the Islamic State a chance to regroup, according to the New York Times.
The Pentagon initially declined to confirm the media reports, issuing an earlier statement Wednesday morning that made no mention of withdrawal.

once more, the President is on his own. ironic given Michael Flynns opinion in 2015:
10 Aug 2015: RealClearPolitics: Former DIA Chief Michael Flynn Says Rise Of ISIS Was A Willful Decision Of US Government
In an interview with Mehdi Hasan of al Jazeera, former director of the Defense Intelligence Agency Michael Flynn says that the decision to arm opposition to Syrias Bashar al-Assad went forward despite warnings that those weapons might fall into radical hands. Flynn says it was a willful decision by the Obama administration.
HASAN: You are basically saying that even in government at the time you knew these groups were around, you saw this analysis, and you were arguing against it, but who wasnt listening?
FLYNN: I think the administration.
HASAN: So the administration turned a blind eye to your analysis?
FLYNN: I dont know that they turned a blind eye, I think it was a decision. I think it was a willful decision.
HASAN: A willful decision to support an insurgency that had Salafists, Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood?
FLYNN: It was a willful decision to do what theyre doing...
