Where this is going - The left wants to shut down churches that don’t affirm the gay/trans/whatever lifestyle. The left wants to force doctors and nurses to perform abortions against their conscience. The deplorable normal people are to have no freedom of religion or conscience.

How about a religious test for the Congress members?

Senators Mazie Hirono (D-HI) and Kamala Harris (D-CA) raised concerns about membership in the Knights of Columbus....

How surprising that two Fake American female senators are all for scrapping the Constitution made by White Males.

The proper answer was, “Your question violates the constitution. Next question?”

Democrats believe in the constitution. That was likely what we’re now referring to as a leftist, a collectivist, or a neo-Marxist.

I would say that being a leftist immediately disqualifies anyone from judging anything. Leftists have a hatred within them that spews out from their being. I would say if anything, not belonging to any moral religious organization would DQ a person.

Founding fathers opposed such tests and deemed them unconstitutional.

They cant get around it.

Not that it would be a good idea, but it would be VERY INSTRUCTIVE if Republicans floated the idea that Democrat-appointed Jews would not be permitted on the courts because of the many places where violence is called out in the Old Testament.

I am a hard core right wing christian. My beliefs are not important if my support of the constitution is first even though the constitution may overrule my religions beliefs.

If one can support the constitution as written his or her religious beliefs are of no consequence.

Our real problem is a judiciary with a political agenda that is non constitutional.

I am so proud of you guys. Not one of you questioned the number of Mormons on the Judiciary Committee.

Wow, there are currently four Mormons, but two of them will be gone in January. (Flake and Hatch) As a non-practicing Mormon, I would have concerns about their positions on illegal immigration since the Mormon Church is the second largest in Mexico.

They will probably claim it is necessary to ensure the separation between church and state.

Someone needs to explain to those morons, separation of church and state does not mean the State has its boot on the throat of the Church. That they even dare ask such a question is a violation of the constitution. That they demand a person leave a religious organization as a prerequisite for a judicial nomination is a violation of the constitution.

Exactly! While everyone else is coming up with this and that meaning, you nailed it. The RATS have laid the foundation to disqualify Judge Barrett as an extremist by association because they know when RBG finally goes toes up, Judge Barrett is going to be nominated and they haven't found anything to Kavanaugh her with at the confirmation hearing.

A Guatemalan mother of two dragging her kids thousands of miles and exposing them to untold dangers so they can mooch off US taxpayers is a hero to the RATS, but this Catholic mother of seven is an existential threat to the Constitution. Sick SOBs the lot of them.
