“after pursuing your various journalistic and social media posts, it’s pretty clear your political views are diametrically opposed to ours (and we hate Fox).”
I think that should be perusing.
Massive lawsuit. Get rich young lady.
Lawsuit for what?
first it was a roommate situation and no one can be forced to live with someone diametrically opposed to their philosophy.
Second if it had been an apartment issue, well political beliefs are not a protected class, yet.
After reviewing her follow on posts, she is a conservative who won’t fight back, won’t sue, and doesn’t want the lefties who denied her housing targeted. This is why we lose. All is war now and the Left needs to be confronted just as forcefully and destructively as they target us.
freedom of association
So true.
politics would be creed, cant discriminate based on creed. Now since its a roommate that is different.
Absolutely correct.
Proof libs are haters. Also is this a violation of the first amendment?
She sounds like a Bush-League Republican.
This was a roommate situation.
People can and do pick their roommates on all types of criteria, with much more legal leeway than they’d have with even an apartment rental in their house—or certainly in a larger apartment building.
I’m sorry, but this is a non-story.
She doesn’t have any grounds to sue. This is a roommate situation.
Creed has only been legally interpreted as religion—and doesn’t pertain in a roommate situation anyway.
That the political views that elected our current President are not tolerated in our own Capitol makes it clear that unless we fight back we will lose our country.
So true; the right has to learn how to fight a “total war”. Instead we endure a slow string of defeats while the left slowly moves the goalposts, “fundamentally transforming” the country not over generations or decades, but by the year. The Kenyan Pirate opposed open borders and “gay marriage”, yet ten years after his election those positions are considered hate speech. Not “unpopular” or “right-wing” - HATE SPEECH.
Not sure about that. DC housing law prohibits discrimination based upon political affiliation or source of income (Fox).
Not for a roommate situation.
__________
Yes indeed .... even "studying or examining".
It is amazing how many of those errors are in articles these days.
I even ran across three misspellings in an article by the brilliant Victor Davis Hanson a few days ago. (He better watch over his staff.)
:-)
Actually, political beliefs are protected in DC. By law, I believe.
