“But. can they read cursive?”

Being that they all passed the Texas Bar Exam, I’m guessing they can read and write.

True demographic changes occurred. But don’t forget that
Texas in general hasn’t been in the GOP camp for all that
long. Go back three governors and you’ll find a democrat.

**The group of women, who were part of a local democratic campaign**

Didn’t need to read any further. Too bad for this county. It will take years to weed out the dem judges.

Harris County and Fort Bend County both saw straight ticket Dem voting. Every single county seat up for grabs went to the Dems.

They knocked out some good R judges and replaced them with BLM judges. We’ll see what happens.

"for decades"

Correct, the late 70's is when home builders started transition to building larger and then mini mansions instead of 1600- 2100 sqft homes...the exedious of Minnisotans to Texas.

Mini mansions is the norm for housing starts in Texas.

Heavy recruiting of corporate moves fed the housing market as transplants found that their Northern wage could buy much more here, on top of the pay increase for the move.

*If you fled your failed state for economic advantage in Texas, then don't vote your failed state ways.

No. It’s been the chamber of commerce and texas.gov begging for more people to move here. Texas will fall soon.
Texas was won via migration. It will be lost from it as well.

The decline was certain after all the Katrina refugees arrived from Orleans Parish in 2005.

Yes, and these new “Texans” are more clueless than the native ones.

“The decline was certain after all the Katrina refugees arrived from Orleans Parish in 2005.”

There are not enough Katrina refugees to turn a Harris County election.

Good point; they may have added 30,000 Democrat voters from the refugees.

They weren’t elected because they were black.
They weren’t elected because they were female.
They weren’t elected because they were more highly skilled and had a better campaign message than the opponent.

They were elected because straight party Democrat voting put them in office.

There was a massive ousting of Republicans from city offices in 2018.

50% still decided to stay home.

>>Here comes a new bathroom bill for Houston!

Possibly but not necessarily.

There were black pastors who got Mayor Anus Pucker’s GLBT ordinance knocked down.

“50% still decided to stay home.”

Well, then the Republicans gave then no reason to vote.

That’s not a Democratic problem, that’s a Republican problem.

>>70 million dollars can help bring out the stupid vote fairly quick.

How many millions went to “walking around money” to encourage people to go to the polls?

It doesn’t seem to do Queen Sheila Jackson Lee much good.

When their property taxes go up, they may realize that there was a reasons to get up off their asses and go vote.
