As a dual Canadian, There is a BIG difference in the immigration issue between the US and Canada. Canada’s POINTS system is very strict: everything from your family’s education (no public school BS, must be private), assets (nothing below 50K), health (blood test) and criminal past goes into the process. Unlike here in the US where we allow illegals to just come here..
Canada WILL deport your ass and they’ve proven it with the local cops. They may be “diverse’ but they assimilate very well and educated. God knows I’ve met “canadianized” Mexicans there and they dont call themselves that nor do they hang outside your Home Depot.

I had no idea it was his movie. I saw it because of John Candy. All the Canadians in it were pretty funny. Steven Wright as a Mountie was awesome. And Dan Akroyd as a motorcycle cop correcting the anti-Canadian graffiti on the truck and making them also write the same insults in French. .. LOL.
