Here's their logo history:
Gillette just lost my t8 gears of business.
GONE ARE THE DAYS, when Gillette used to advertise their “Gillette Blue Blades” on Saturday Night boxing in the 1950s.
Gillette wants masculinity gone for resistance to Benevolent Slavery could stop the movement.
Agreed. I tried Harry’s when they were just mail-order and I could never get a close shave. Will check out the Personna.
I have been boycotting P&G products ever since learning that they were funding BLM and related organizations.
Shave my toxic masculinity?
At first read, I thought they were recommending an intimate man-shave, which come to think of it, would also increase the demand for razor blades. Marketing.
But no, it’s just the usual PC blather.
P&G is still a good dividend payer . . . but they haven't had a stock split in 10 or 15 years. They may be the next Sears.
If they do go down, it will be with a full complement of cupcakes.
Yes, let’s tell men that they’re generally bad, need to change according to how women dictate because we’re all basically rapists right now.
Imagine telling a woman that she isn’t what men want and need to change into what we dictate.
...so let me make sure we all understand because we need reminding - MEN: DO NOT RAPE!
Yeah, because we’re all almost about to... /s
#MeToo
PoundMeToo?
Well, that’s that. I need to find a new razor.
Go to hell gay bastards at gilette! Tell your story to people who need to hear it, not to me! And stop assuming that all men are like that! Plus go to hell together with the gay mafia that is telling you what to do!
Gilette: The gay blade.
Ditch 'em.
I grew a beard.
I’m a Harry’s man, thanks for the info...
I retired from there too. They bought our company (Duracell) and started removing the local managers and replaced them with minorities and women, mostly black and mostly from up North. When they couldn’t handle the job they just rotated them to another plant. They replaced a lot of engineering employees with people from Pakistan. I was in leadership and had to take classes on controlling my facial expressions so that I would never let anger, etc. show on my face. All leadership and managers had to do it. We also had to take diversity classes. We had to handle trouble makers but weren’t allowed to ever raise our voice or appear angry. I finally started having stress issues and retired at 58 after 37 years of employment. Not worth it! We had issues with Gillette when they owned us, before P&G bought them out, but nothing like with P&G. I have good retirement benefits though.
My daughter is still there and thank goodness P&G sold Duracell and they are more or less running themselves again. I’m not as worried about her future now. Duracell was/is a good company, especially when it’s run by homegrown employees.
When I was in college (90’s) P&G recruited heavily at our college but wouldn’t even look at the male seniors. Never once saw them interview a man. They scooped up the female grads like crazy.
