LOS ANGELES Barack Obama hasnt been the president for nearly two years, but his fame is still spreading at least when it comes to naming things after him.
The nations first African-American president need not go far around the country these days to find something that carries his name. Theres Barack Obama Way in New Albany Township, Indiana, and Barack Obama Boulevard in Pahokee, Florida. Theres a long list of schools now named for him, like Barack Obama Academy for Academic & Civic Development in Plainfield, New Jersey, and Barack Obama Elementary School in Richmond, Virginia.
Obama even has animal species named after him, like placida barackobamai, a sea slug.
(From the USAToday piece:
Meister said Obama was admired globally and was the perfect image for welcoming visitors to sunny southern California.
"Having an airport that (recognizes) the first African-American president, someone who won the Nobel Peace Prize, who got us out of the 2008 economic crisis and gave us affordable health care, should be celebrated," Meister said.)

Lil’ Andy Cuomo just named the new Tappan Zee Bridge after his corrupt old man Mario, the sfaccimm.
His father wasn’t from Africa. And he’s absolutely a mulatto.
The airport in Little Rock.
Tagging targets galore.
I have 3 1/2 monuments to Obama in my home. That seems to be enough.
... schools now named for him, like Barack Obama Academy for Academic & Civic Development in Plainfield, New Jersey,
I looked it up. It is a high school with an enrollment of 55. 10% are proficient in math and they boast a graduation rate of 55%. But they get a B+ score on “diversity”61% Hispanic/39% black. No white kids attend BOAACD.
Don’t know if I were BHO I’d want my name on this one.
The best we have is a Obompo Park at a local
AME Church here in our Northern mid-Tn town.

MLK Boulevard will still be the most dangerous road in any city, but BO Street will take second place. The same for schools. BO Achievement High School will be in second to last place in any school district. It’s nice when they name things to warn normal people about the dangers.
The one that will thrill be is a BO stamp. That’s one I’m looking forward to spitting on.
I predict this is going to be like all the “Martin Luther King Drives”... when you see you are on it, get the hell out of that neighborhood fast!
PS #34 Jersey City - JFK Blvd, 1 block west of MLK Drive

Dont give them any ideas. The Queensboro/59th Street Bridge was renamed the Ed Koch bridge.

Will there ever be a dam in Connecticut named after their former senator Chris Dodd?
The Dodd Dam?
The Kenyanesian Usurper should noit have anything named after him.
He was never eligible to hold the office.
He is NOT a natural born citizen.
His foreign national father made him a British subject and a Kenyan national at birth wherever he was born.
Natural born citizen are NATURALLY citizens because they cannot be anything else.
The children of foreign nationals are precisely who the founders were excluding with the natural born citizen requirement.
All such places will state: EBT Accepted Here
Brilliant idea. Place prominently displayed signs for EBT on all highways bearing his name
How about andy arrogant Cuomo names the new tappan zee bridge after his father, the gall
A portion of 134 Freeway between 2 Freeway and 210 Freeway was named “President Barack H. Obama Highway”.
It is located near Pasadena, California...I see that sign when I drive towards Glendale on 210 Freeway...
My sympathy.
