Critics are pushing back against the portrayal of students from Covington Catholic High School as racist, after a confrontation between the school and a Native American counter-demonstrator at the March for Life on Friday.
The headline from the Associated Press at the Hollywood Reporter — repeated in some form by outlets across the country — read: “Students in ‘Make America Great Again’ Hats Mock Native Americans After Washington Rally.”
CNN declared: “Teens in Make America Great Again hats taunted a Native American elder at the Lincoln Memorial.”
A viral video showed a group of male students cavorting on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial as a Native American man beating a drum walked toward them. The students’ gestures were perceived as mocking him.
Media pundits pounced on the students. Slate said that the student portrayed in the video had “harassed” the Native American and had the “face of self-satisfaction and certitude, of edginess expressed as cruelty.” It linked the incident to President Donald Trump’s criticism of Sen. Elizabeth Warren for her claims of Native American heritage.
A writer at the National Review also declared that the students “might as well have spit on the cross.” The school itself and the diocese issued a public apology and pledged to discipline — even expel — the students:

The mayor of Covington, also spoke out against the students, in an op-ed quoted by the Washington Post, saying the videos of the students’ behavior at the event “do NOT represent the core beliefs and values of this City.”

This shit has been going on since Rodney King and NBC. The LA police should have sued NBC for editing the “king” video that caused the LA riots. This shit gotta stop. Corporate/democrat media are proving they need to pay a price for intentional misrepresentation and character assassination. This young man has been erroneously portrayed as a bigot and will suffer consequences from this malicious lie. The parents of these kids should start a go fund me for these students to legally defend themselves against these devils.

Not only did they instigate the confrontation, in one of the videos, you can (if you listen closely) hear one of them saying "Hit him! Beat him!"

These kids are in trouble. The left is a modern day lynch mob whose goal is to intimidate all who have the nerve to oppose their evil ends. They will stop at nothing. The school and the kids need to use legal means to defend themselves and conservative media needs to get the truth out asap. This “native” tribesman is nothing but a marxist social justice warrior paid by self loathing Jew George Soros. They need to be exposed!

Fake news, false reporting, manipulated events, twisting stories, made-up accounts, whatever you want to call it, the media is not credible anymore and there is no veracity in anything they put out nowadays.

That jerk “elder” has apparently contacted all the lefty news outlets to spew his lies. CNN said HE contacted THEM and they had a sit-down interview with him. Nothing he said was the truth. They showed it again a few minutes ago.
BUT, much as I hate doing it, I have to give CNN credit this afternoon. They played more of the video, including the black “church” group who were harassing the kids and everyone else before the Indians showed up.
The gal said after watching an hour and a half of videos of the while thing, the only people harassing anyone were the black guys in the “church” group.
Of course, there was no mention of the Indians harassing the kids but it IS CNN after all.
Rabid dogs should be treated as rabid dogs.
