George writes above fifth grade level. I admire that.
But so did Howard Coselle. The difference is Coselle was entertaining while Will is a bore.
He is always the most pretentious, affected, showy, and sesquipedalian (heheh) writer in the world today.
He went to Princeton, did you know? Of course you did. Who else would try so hard to make sure you know he's a Princeton man.
I keep a George Will article on my bedside table. Better than Benadryl or Sleepy Time Tea.
This came to mind when I read the following about President Trump by a little old lady named George Will:
...
LOL
sesquipedalian ....I saw one of them in the woods last year. Stunk to high Heaven.
As Nancy Pelosi warned, don’t get into a tinkle contest with a sesquipedalian...
LMAO.
What you see here is a classic case of journalistic cowardice. George Will is paying verbal ransom.
He does not want to get the same treatment as Tucker Carlson so he puts out the Joseph Goebbels hit pieces to prevent himself from being thrown into the Washington Compost oven. Every word he puts out against Trump, is another hour he gets to live.
He knows it, I know it, you know it.
"This is much the same attitude many voters, conservatives as well as independents, had adopted by the time Trump came down that escalator to announce his intention to run for the presidency. Just as Lincoln saw a proven winner in Grant, rather than another pompous peacetime general like McClellan and Halleck, the voters saw a successful businessman in Trump instead of the usual decorous losers like John McCain and Mitt Romney. And, unlike George Will, they did not and still do not give a damn about comportment. Trumps supporters wanted someone on the GOP side who would fight."
Thank you, I can always improve my vocabulary and this one is a treasure!
George Will wrote in Jack Kemp in ‘92 so he basically voted for Clinton
“Trump is a fighting general, but his army is his base, not the GOP. Much of the GOP are collaborationists who want him gone as much as the traitorous Democrats who are working tirelessly to destroy the country.”
Trump really is a third party candidate; the Democrats and the Republicans are livid that he never was elected to anything, kissed no rings and owes none of them squat.
Sometimes I like to use big words to make myself sound more photosynthesis.
You sound like me on the GOP sellout collusionists - but I repeat myself thric.
Sometimes I like to use big words to make myself sound more photosynthesis.

Boy, I can sure supersize with that.
I’m sure pantywaists like George Will would be decrying Churchill as a drunken bum as the Nazi’s are about to invade England. I can see it now...
‘Yes, Hitler has conquered us and is busy rounding up the London Jews off to camps, but at least we have our dignity!!’
The GOP finally has a fighting general - but his corps commanders and brigadiers are traitors looking to stab him in the back at the first opportunity.
Both yes, and no.
The Roman emperors had far less legal limitations on their power.
The Roman Senate had become a joke.

Exactly. Will’s writing is pretentious to the the point of parody.
