The problem is that perception is reality.
And it’s hard to come away with a different interpretation that Trump caved.
Pelosi is being praised to the gills, and not just by liberals. People like a leader, even if they don’t agree with them on issues. And Pelosi came out of this looking much more like a leader than Trump.
And it really pains me to the core to say that.
“Glad you made it official.”
Why does it matter.
He won.
Trump is strong and smart.

And what is that lesson..that the Dems dont want a wall, that the Dems want an open border so EVERYONE comes in and votes Democrat, thus changing the demographic of this country forever..UH I already knew that and so does President Trump

So for now, the issue of starving government workers is off the table and the dems have 3 weeks to bargain (something they have not been doing). Will that mean that if they refuse to do any serious negotiating in these 3 weeks, and the government shuts down again, will the dems own it? Perhaps this was a good move - takes the non-paid employees issue off the table, transfers ownership of the ensuing shutdown to the dems. I don’t know how this one ends....other than the state of emergency.
Who cares. You are now a minority party for an eternity. Have fun. The wall will be built. You have no choice

Trump can go in and honestly say he has tried everything and nothing could get by these idiots.
He can now build the wall and give up nothing to DACA or anything else. DACA kids can blame nan now and will. More votes will swing over to Trump.
I just hope he gets around to publishing all her trips expenses with her family on the taxpayers dime.

Schumer is right. Trump betrayed us and CAVED on the wall.
Hillary and her entire team are walking around free. A growing number of Trump associates have been arrested. Mueller hasn’t been fired. FISA hasn’t been declassed...and now Trump caves on the wall.

If you really believe this, put some more time into using your tagline and kneel down and pray.

This is why it was a mistake to give any ground to the damned Democrats.
What should have happened here is a scorched earth policy from Trump.
And now he’ll never get the wall because the Democrats have made him back down twice...first on the SOTU and now on the wall and the shutdown.
