An imposed narrative with an absurd falsehood at its center makes for a zero credibility article.
In fact you can see a surge in pro-American propaganda on Russian mainstream media recently. The main narratives are McCain gone, Hillary now irrelevant, ‘people there realize their government foreign politics are contrary to freedom’, ‘they aren’ t that different from us’. Government channels are running documentaries on American history, food, sightseeing. I am yet to figure out what is behind it.

Since the deep state wants to get rid of Trump, some of its members are probably hoping that Gabbard will get some 2016 Trump voters. That might work if she ran 3rd party, but in that case she might get some anti-Trump Dem voters too, and the DS does not want that.

the whole story was a sham: the only “experts” cited by NBC in support of its key claim was the firm, New Knowledge, that just got caught by the New York Times fabricating Russian troll accounts on behalf of the Democratic Party in the Alabama Senate race to manufacture false accusations that the Kremlin was interfering in that election.

“The experts” say that Gabbard has no chance, and maybe they are right. How could somebody with enough brains to see that deep state “meddling” in Syria can’t be good, win the Dem nomination? But remember who they thought couldn’t win in 2016.
Well, we have common sense Republican winning. It won’t hurt to have a common sense democrat for a change.
